Hey buddy- the magnet is made from Neodymium (Element Nd), Iron (Fe) and Boron (B), and coated in Nickel(Ni) with a elemental composition of Nd2Fe14B. I should have been more clear about it, but I didn't think people wanted to know so much! The "Neodymium Magnet" on wikipedia sums it up well too.
They do. Trucks use eddy current retarders to help slow the vehicle down. We also use an eddy current dynamometer as a brake to create a load in order to measure torque.
I am reading"Material World" by Ed Conway. He was explaining about electricity and why Copper is so important. Came here to check if the magnet really stops before settling down quietly 🤠

what if a person wears magnets and jumps from a building on a copper bed
I just thrown my hard drive at my dads ear. it didn't slow down, dad wants his money back.
Thanks to lord that someone here knows how to explain without creating a fuss of alien words
Hey.. Neodymium magnet... Made of iron boron nickel ??.. (it's made of Neodymium.. an element..)(also Boron isnt ferromagnetic)
