Eddy Current Demo.

This is an example of an eddy current generated by a Neodymium magnet on a piece of copper.

Hey buddy- the magnet is made from Neodymium (Element Nd), Iron (Fe) and Boron (B), and coated in Nickel(Ni) with a elemental composition of Nd2Fe14B. I should have been more clear about it, but I didn't think people wanted to know so much!
The "Neodymium Magnet" on wikipedia sums it up well too.

Hey.. Neodymium magnet... Made of iron boron nickel ??.. (it's made of Neodymium.. an element..)(also Boron isnt ferromagnetic)

They do. Trucks use eddy current retarders to help slow the vehicle down. We also use an eddy current dynamometer as a brake to create a load in order to measure torque.
