You need to get the mustang weight down. I’m talking 3300-3400lbs with a v8 and you will have one of the best sports cars ever with the updated coyote v8 and the tremec. Make it a close ratio in gears 4/5/6 with an OD 7th for better top end too
Ford really is committed to sticking to tradition. That being offering the Mustang with a V8 forever, no matter what. The Explorer and GT for example, originally came with a V8 but later switched to a V6. Also, their last sedans, those being the Fusion and Taurus were FWD. Yet, the Mustang remains with a V8 and RWD, let alone the car itself after Ford discontinued all passenger cars in its own country. Since the Mustang is now the only true American muscle car left, it’ll be a money maker for Ford.
