That's an awesome story...hold your breath...I love watching too I feel like I'm ten but in four times that lol .he's a great dude .not many left like him..
I love your videos. You remind me a lot of my late father, he got me into metal detecting /treasure hunting. Its nice to come home from a stressful day at work and decompress to your treasure hunting. Thanks!!
I absolutely love going on these adventures with you. Your monologs are cheerful and very educational. I usually end up quite jealous of your finds as well! Please keep it up, Chig!! Yours, LB Springs
That blue bottle is awesome. Now to go work on the yard before the rain comes. Radar says it is already raining a bit though so I might be back sooner than I know.
I'm so envious of this stream that you're in. What a bountiful amount of treasures it seems to have. It takes me forever to find even just a few bottles
Just wanted to say I love all your videos. ..just watch your silver coin best day ever vids and cold chills all over ...you have days we only dream off and it's because you do the research, have the passion, and exemplify the professionalism of a true detectorist! !!
My father, my brother and I used to go metal detecting on weekends around Phoenix when I was a kid. Your videos remind of those days. It was always fun when we got a hit, never knowing what we would find.
heyhey! Native phoenician here! What area of the valley did you all go? I found an old cavalry saber blade once on the gila reservation at my coworkers house
EARTH ANGEL THAT BEAUTIFUL COBALT UNUSUAL BOTTLE IS A BRAND OF COSMETICS AND MAKEUP , A LITTLE ON THE UPITY SIDE! NEVER SAW ONE LIKE THAT BEFORE!! NICE FIND!!! THANK YOU!
amazing video AquaChigger can't think for the life of me how many videos I've watched of yours now I thought it was about time I left a comment I also do metal detecting learnt hell of a lot from you thank you and all the best
I absolutely love your enthusiasm for what is a remarkable history lesson for me a British person to learn, so keep on going my friend, as its so educational to learn your countries history 👍
The McCormick bottle is an extract container. McCormick has produced spices and extracts since 1889- you may recall seeing their vanilla in your Mom's (or even your own) pantry.
I just completed watching all of your videos and it was interesting to see the changes. I especially liked seeing the diversity of your videos, just watching someone swing a metal detector gets a little boring. Please continue producing good quality and entertaining videos.
Beau, The blue bottle you found was the large size bottle from a set of perfume that was popular and sold in the states primarily from the forties through the sixties, named "Evening in Paris". It's a 'Perdy' color. : )
Awwwwsooome yes it was! lots of goodies up on the hill I bet just takes some time to look that's what scares me about being alone on the river you don't know who or what's watching you👀 Hope you have a Blast in Tennessee GL & HH
Boy, saw some photos from the 50's and 60's of the river bank from my hometown. It was amazing and no one now would ever know that it was used as a dump. Quite picturesque now
Beau, I have a question about Rivers that are damed. Does the river treasure flow over the Dams into the Lakes or do they get stuck at the Dam? I live a mile from Lake Norman in NC. The Catawba river has like 11 dams. I think 11 don't quote me on that. Down river of the Catawba river is mostly owned by the electric company . I'm not sure how to access it Wendy 👍👍👍👍💜💜💜💜💜💜💖💖💖👱
hey Beau... I am living in the Seattle area! when you said the 'no foot' comment I was about to pause the vid to comment about it happening up here! The thing is when people first started finding the feet people were spooked and thought there might be a serial killer out here who dismembered the bodies! the feet were found up the Canadian coast too.
nice old blue poision bottle in great shape too, random bullet a trap and a SHOE! best find of the day now then were is the other? hmm could be 70's might be 80's but hard to tell as those were popuar saws so unless it has a date on it i'd say 70's as its in the lovely brown n' cream colours, even better a stakeboard i'd of grabbed that just depends on age, nice ols bottle and a sinker
Sad River ... I used to hunt arrowheads in a creek that right through the middle of a small city.. Population was about 30000 in the 70s.. There was your fair share of junk.back then ... I got a chance to go back after 20 years populations now pushing 90,000.... I took a walk down memory lane and was FRIKN disgusted... Homeless camps, trash, mattresses bicycles bout 50 empty purses... hundreds of empty booze bottles, and a pile of dead chickens??? Right in a residential area right behind a Raleys supermarket... Went back and got my pistol after about ten minutes sketchy place now...
Hi Chigg! Im interested in buying my own metal detector, but im no expert and don't know what i should get, got any insight as to what I should invest in? Also! Just wanted to mention that lovely bottle you found is from a line of Cologne called "Evening in Paris" by Bourjois. Happy treasure huntin, - Raven.
How do you clean the bottles that are stained or have old oil in it I got one that even dish soap won't clean and I dnt even Wana know what the sludge is .
I love you vids and i watch all of them and i love all of them and please keep up the good work and be careful in the water.. Do more water treasures they are interesting..
Just out of curiosity the time you showed the knifes you found can u remember if u found that snap on kershaw at damn 4 i lost one there I've bought a new one sence I'm just curious
That cobalt blue bottle, depending on how well it cleaned up, would bring 20 dollars or more around here. The Orange Crush bottle you left in the water would bring 12-15 dollars if it cleaned up well. All those cork type medicine bottles would bring 3 to 5 dollars depending on rarity.
My parents and I are from So. Indiana. We lived on a piece of property with a man made small lake. When it was dry in the summer we dug the banks. We found out later it was a dump site for the locals back in the early 1900 hundreds. Dad got DOZENS of med bottles out of that area and now sells them. I wanna go back use a metal detector to see what else is there.
I heard that the blue/green Ball jars are really old and people collec them IF they can find one...I bought 3 at an antique store....good find Chigg!...too bad that some people would try to clear up and clean the shore of the river....so sad...it would look so pretty.
it's easy to date most coke bottles. you'll find a small embossed date on the side of most of them. many of the older ones are worth money. keep adventuring!😉
i have a quick question, im a noobie at metal detecting/exploring for cool stuff, when you're in rivers like these they must go through multiple properties who do you ask for permission to be on the rivers?
I too love the blue ones. Fortunately, that company went back to making them, in case you are ever interested. I got 6 of them with lids off of Amazon for 28bucks. They have purple and green too but the blue ones are the best.
Blue bottle used to contain Talcum Powder most likely, "Evening in Paris", with a square area on front for label. It would have a Cork top. Not sure of the value but they are very rare.
From Seattle, can confirm. It happens every few months that someone finds a shoe with a foot in it. Usually on the Olympic peninsula. I know for one if I found a shoe on the beach im not gonna mess with it lol.
i used to go fishing by this boat marina, many years ago i dont know late 1800`s at one time the city dump was there, when the river is realy low you can find old bottles sticking out of the muddy banks.
have to let you know that my nine year old grand daughters are in awe of your videos.....and every time you say...... hold your breath they do.......you are a grand teacher.....thankyou

That skateboard was possibly civil war era Marty McFly!
I'm so envious of this stream that you're in. What a bountiful amount of treasures it seems to have. It takes me forever to find even just a few bottles
I like the way I can watch the entire video and not get bored or disappointed
Just wanted to say I love all your videos. ..just watch your silver coin best day ever vids and cold chills all over ...you have days we only dream off and it's because you do the research, have the passion, and exemplify the professionalism of a true detectorist! !!
I love that you chose not to have lengthy openings for these videos. You get down to bidness!
But I love the song at the end sometimes
My father, my brother and I used to go metal detecting on weekends around Phoenix when I was a kid. Your videos remind of those days. It was always fun when we got a hit, never knowing what we would find.
You know I'm probably going to have to do this again after watching your videos for so long.
heyhey! Native phoenician here! What area of the valley did you all go? I found an old cavalry saber blade once on the gila reservation at my coworkers house

Bourjois was a French perfume, bought by Chanel in the middle 1900s. That bottle is circa 1920-1940. They had a silver top and fitment on the side..
I just started watching your videos and they are great! I'm also very impressed by how many you upload, keep up the good work and thanks!

Did you do any River Janitoring? Nice cork top bottles. The Ball jar looked like the late 1918-1923 style. Another great video.
You left that Orange Crush bottle behind Chig, insane!!
thanks 'Chigg' you brightened my Florida sunny day
Boy, saw some photos from the 50's and 60's of the river bank from my hometown. It was amazing and no one now would ever know that it was used as a dump. Quite picturesque now

Hey , I have one of those French bottles . The aluminum lid was a slide piece , that covered the holes in the lid . It most likely held powder .
I am told that the President really enjoys your channel.
Keep up the good word.
The blue glass bottle looks like a SHINYAKU japanese bottle.

That’s a keeper. Nice ball jar
why are you coming to Tennessee, would like to meet you. One question, where can I ring metal detectors magazine or books.
That orange crush bottle looked like an early 1920s one, probably not valuable enough to be worth it, but interesting all the same.
How do you clean the bottles that are stained or have old oil in it I got one that even dish soap won't clean and I dnt even Wana know what the sludge is .
When you find mini balls you should say found my 5,789th mini ball, not your first.. Haha XD :) :D !!

I realized why I like your shows its like a video " I spy" lol
Do you check for old barbwire? Big collectors out there. You seem to find a lot of it. But is it that old ?
You missed a bottle sticking out of the ground at 24:43 at the far right of the screen. :)

The Butt's End of an Oval Bottle...???
i live in california. and yes that does happen. body parts wash up on beaches all along the coast.
You are my favorite show, officially 😁
How do you handle the snakes and bugs when you are out walking in the water?
Hi aquachigger just sayin........You are epic ....... You must have lots of patience for finding things.
Do you have good patients?

That handle looks like a turn knob for a valve love your videos
Those old blue bottles are desirable because they don't make that shade of blue glass anymore. even broken ones can be melted down for crafts.
I too love the blue ones. Fortunately, that company went back to making them, in case you are ever interested. I got 6 of them with lids off of Amazon for 28bucks. They have purple and green too but the blue ones are the best.

Love your adventures . Do you get leeches?
I think the blue bottle is a nice find
I love old bottles had to reduce my collection when I moved..
Love you're work man keep it up the videos.
That orange crush bottle is hard to find not broken. It's dated 1923 and is valuable. It's a shame that you didn't take it.
I love your videos Aquachigger. I hope you don't mind a grammar comment. Farther: any measurable distance. Further: time or anything else.
