Guys I just want to say these comments are so nice. Thank you and I’m sorry if I scared you. UA-cam needs to relook at their algorithm. I prefer long vids as I can always have them playing in the background whilst I'm doing something else. And if anything interesting happens, I can always flip the page back to the vid and rewind the vid to see what has happened. I don't always have to watch the vids but I do enjoy it as a background sound and you can't really do that with sort vids (minus music which you can loop or use a playtrack)
Well the problem is: UA-cam doesnt want to die, so it has to keep up with the "Trends" and thats why Shorts are there. and the agressive algorithm is because youtube want that $$$. And thats not a fact, its my assumption

Life is weird and it’s hard and it’s unendingly confusing… right when you think you get it figured out here comes another curve ball. I went through my undergraduate, moved to China, came back, started grad school, finished it but didn’t like what the career was at all so I left, and I’m basically left wondering what to do. I’ve had almost all of my friends get divorced and are now on second marriages… I genuinely don’t think I could make it through a divorce so in some ways I’m incredibly grateful that parts of life haven’t come to me yet. Anyway… all this to say that I enjoy YOU in whatever content you make. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have millions of people analyze your every facial twitch but just know that a lot of us think you’re pretty cool and doing well :) all love.

as someone who has been on Melatonin in the past, it’s very inconsistent, as when I had it, I constantly woke up feeling horrible and felt like I had no sleep

I get where you're coming from with the short form content. It is great for me while on break at work or to unwind. BUT, I do need longer form content to have in the background or just hanging around at home. I'm sure I'm not the only one who prefers you guys and others over regular TV. Long form may be suffering but I can't see it going away completely. It might just be in a situation where there is more content than the demand. But there is still a demand for it.
