How very Trent Reznor to have the entire band caked in mud and growing gradually unstable as the concert goes on.

@@richardgluteus unfortunately due to a shoulder injury he is retired and teaching in a college now. Still just shows what a cool and decent guy he is... Passing on his knowledge like that. Vrenna is awesome. Great to see inducted to the RARHOF with NIN.

Sin is my all time favorite NIN song. I just love the beat the bass the rhythm and the words of this song. Also reminds me of the douchey 17 yr old bf I had when I was 14...he loved to try TRY to make other’s work into his own including nin. He coerced me into losing my virginity by manipulating and pressuring me and flipping a coin. Never even saw the third flip result and just went with it. He dumped me in the HS cafeteria three days later in between classes and told me that if I was pregnant he’d “gut me like a fish”. So...this song definitely makes me think of that. But it honestly really makes the whole experience and memory a lot better. And I’m not even an angry, bitter or vengeful person at all what so ever. Just makes me feel like I’m actually empowered now because of this song. It doesn’t dwell on me or anything either as I am now 36 years old in a long time serious relationship and have two teenagers now myself!

Trent and Robin got into literal wrestling matches on the tour this concert paid for. This was them toned down. Besides it was all play acting. Everything was rehearsed. If any of this was real, Robin would never have accepted Reznor's offer to rejoin the band.
Acting , so Robin's guitar malfunctioning from mud - meaning no sound for the solo ...which clearly annoyed Trent so he throws water at Robin , who then walks off stage is all rehearsed? Wow that's meticulous planning . The guitar and mud was in on the plan as well ???

When i was a kid my mom had a CD that had this version on it done in the studio. It was a copy of pretty hate machine but it was black and grey instead of the normal blue and pink. I accidentally broke it because someone woke me up while i was listening to my cd player and i rolled over on it. Been trying to figure out what that CD was and how to get it to this day. She doesn't even know where she got it she just picked it up some time in the early 90s.

@@deftonescommando it looked similar to the remaster but the remaster doesn't have this version on it. I'd also like to add that i am 26 and when this happened i was like 8, the remaster didn't come out until 2010. I graduated high-school in 2014 at age 18.

I'm so old, I listened to this on ppv scrambled.
My dad had a bootleg cable box. Have VHS tapes if most of the weekend I had my dad make for me. I was away in hotel room working in Dallas. My girlfriend whom I just met was at the show with the brother. We saw them twice in Dallas that year. We think we were at part of the taping of the Hurt Video.

I’m part of today’s generation and have been baging my head to NIN since grade school too. My parents were teens- young adults during the 90s. I stole their “old” CDs when I was 10. They didn’t have PHM but I listened to a few other NIN albums! Huge fan, I wish I grew up during a time when rock was at its peak sometimes.

That year's Woodstock had a real mud problem. Primus got pelted with mud by the crowd when they tried to play "My Name Is Mud".
Actually...did all 3 Woodstock concerts have mud problems? It's just a general problem with that site right? It takes lots of foot traffic before the problem shows up, but I think it's guaranteed to be muddy if that many people are on it.
