Adding & Removing Springs: Basic Bowl Tuning 101

I miss it... almost 50 years ago, I was adjusting springs every day.
About 40 years ago, I was freed from spring adjustment after I modified an inverter for a motor and started using it as a parts feeder controller!
At that time, Citizen Watch used a cast aluminum bowl, which was very difficult to process with a milling machine because it burned on the blade.
After they changed to SUS304 bowls, the parts feeder manufacturing changed completely.
We still have a large inventory of springs from various manufacturers...
懐かしいなぁ、50年近く前はバネ調整の毎日だった
40年程前、モーター用のインバーターを改造してパーツフィーダーのコントローラーとして使用し始めてから、バネ調整から解放されました
当時、シチズン時計はアルミの鋳物ボウルを使っていて、フライスで加工すると刃物に焼き付いて大変でした
SUS304ボウルに変更されてからパーツフィーダーの作りが一変しましたね
今でも大量に各メーカーのバネの在庫があり・・・
