Shukran my new friend! I often get mixed up when speaking MSA because I’ll pronounce words like I would in Darija (for example using ت to pronounce ث. The muscle memory continues to build overtime.
      Best,
      Reese

Thank you ("Shukran")! I am working a lot on my pronounciation, as I definitely have a tough time with certain sounds.

@@HistoricalMethodMan That's only natural at first. But if I don't remember wrongly you haven't been in Morocco for a tremendously long time. Since you make an effort, and are in a suitable environment, who is to say, that you won't continue to improve.
Also i want to say, you are an inspiration to me :) wrote that on discord a while back also. Makes me want to study history at some point ^^
Pretty cool to see a young historian doing history thingies.
      My monkey mind approves.
And further, glad you are engulfing yourself in a different cultural sphere than NYC. Not an easy choice to make.

God willing my Arabic will get there. If you have any questions about studying history, especially at college, my Historical Method Man email is on the UA-cam channel “About” page.

hey! i like how u spoke classical arabic, but since ur a student here in Morocco, u should try speaking the Moroccan Darija, cuz we don't speak classical arabic in our daily life, that'd be awesome!!! 🥰 good luck

I've been learning Moroccan Darija for two months, and I tend to use that language in the street and when I live my daily life. This video was a little project for my Modern Standard Arabic class.
