Hello thank u for watching. With this new template system I'd like to offer a word of warning to fellow live2d people. Please be very, very careful with who you send .cmo3's too!! Reverse engineering/model copying was already a risk but now that it's alot easier to use a .cmo3 to make a brand new model, please be careful! Thank u
There is also that issue where technicalllyyy, whoever has the .cmo3 can get the original .psd. If you're the main rigger you already have the .psd but if you're showing it to someone else, they could possibly get their hands on the full model psd so yeah, it's pretty scary! Be careful!!!! 🐈🐈🐈
This is interesting, looks like this can be easier to start with if you are beginner. Obviously it lack nuances and details that more professional riggers do, but I don't mind to see rigging coming more simple and easier. Personally I might give these a try to see what kind of things those are capable to do.
This is definitely great for beginners or ych models!! The model template is definitely great to learn because for example if you create a personalised skirt template based on how you like to do skirts, you can practically use that for any other model going forward and just tweak it a bit. Live2d had this before but they've revamped it alot more so now you can focus on part templates rather than a whole model template. Its pretty good!!!!
Awesome video, thank you! The Vtube Studio integration tracks everything fine except my mouth open-closed parameters somehow and it's really annoying. I'd really really appreciate if anyone could help me finding the solution. 😢
Thank you for watching!! First check if the parameters for tracking and output are there in the vtube studio model, second check if the naming is the same for both models. If it still doesn't work maybe try a different model as a tracking model in vts?
@@athenyach Thank you, I figured out on my own that it was the base model's faulth I choose first (one of the freebies of Vtube studio with the pink hair). One of the preset models (the one with the brown hair) worked out and the others not. But after I get my own done I suppose everything is gonna be allright and she'll be the base for the upcoming projects. ❤ Why that one works and the others not, no clue, but it is what it is. 😅 Also I'm sorry my English is not the best so I'm proud that I can understand your videos and also I can solve problems whitout knowing how.😂
Hi, I like your content, can I ask something? I want to learn rigging but I am using the free model from booth pm which already has its original rigging. How do I input the model and animation into cubism? I have clicked open but it cannot because the file is not a psd

That’s honestly scary as a rigger myself…

What kind of file is it?
@@athenyach on ZIP, like on Booth pm.I want import on l2d cubism to change any animation, but always fail.
Usually booth models are made for live3d or vrchat, so if you got one of those, then that's probably why :3
Unzip the file(winrar or anything else) and the .cmo3 or .psd should be there!
Thanks bro LOL
Good man 👍
@@athenyach yeah no problem dude 😎
bruh
You'll get em next time... maybe for your new outfit.???? ☝🐈
What if I can't find the external application integration settings
Update your Live2D editor and it should be there in 5.1!
Even in the free version?
