► I use the Faderfox mx12 and Novation Launchpad mini in my home studio to
start & stop Clips in Ableton Live and tweaking some filters.
All Hardware plays live, triggered by pre recorded midi files.
further I use Ableton for this live jam to sample & record analog sequences.

Remember the nice DDX3216,...never got hold of one until they disapeard from the market,..also fun to see someone use the SparkLe i use the bigbrother Spark,..Love the vibe from your work man.;D Love cheers
Thank you very much. The DDX is still a nice AD Converter , the 16 line ins (synths) goes straight over ADAT to my soundcard. Further you can use the 16 Channel faders like a midi controller to tweak the volume Faders in Ableton (Midi CC) for example 😎😉

Yet another magnificent piece! Maybe my favorite of your tracks. What I find also extra appealing, is your arrangements - somewhat raw and just enough to keep the energy flowing.
Paap Nõmm Thank you very much 😀🙏. I pre recorded the midi notes and start and stop them live, so i create the arrangement just in the moment. I think That is the rawness you feel 😉 and that is exactly what i try to produce. This kind of workflow helps me not sound to static. A quit interesting aspect for me is to see that with the same midi clips and sounds you can create different moods and tracks. Of course not totally different but different enough.

Tetro 13 😀Thank you 🙏. Its a behringer ddx3216 , but i just use it for its Line and Adat in/outs.I mixing in the daw. If you talk about the little black one in front of me its a Faderfox Mx12. This thing is a Midi controller with faders ,knobs and buttons,very helpfull 😉

The machine you seek is in your heart , Monsieur ! For dub techno', you can use many instruments. The important elements in the style are drums, bass and chords. Reverb and delay effects are essential to the sound, too. I would suggest investigating the volca sample first, as it is affordable, easy to learn, and you can use it for everything! (except delay). After this, your compatriots' excellent Arturia MicroFreak can bring some magic to the chords and / or bass. Start with cheap , used FX pedals. The other typical element of the genre is the creative use of a mixer (this is the essence of the dub sound). I have found the best results with the style when recording onto multitrack cassette or tape... The timbre of tape is really nice to warm up the sounds and add grit and noise! Good luck 🤞 (I haven't released any dub techno yet, but I have been developing my sound, setup and skills for about 3 years in the genre and I have almost got an album ready ... I can send you something if you are unsure about my advice) ... Smoke ganja and conquer Babylon with the music from inside you, Monsieur!
Hello, sorry for the late respond, i use the elekron rytm and the drumrack in Ableton.
But you can use any hardware Drum or software to make it.
