Or „Rigestan“ means desert, „qabrestan“ means graveyard.
The thing is that landlocked countries are countries that were part of countries with access to sea before but now they are their own countries. For me, except the EU and African countries, the other ones should unite with their neighbors to grow stronger

Hi, a small error: The port of Switzerland is not on the rhone in Geneva, but on the Rhine in Basel. From where larger river ships go to. In the 1960s, there was a plan to build a canal through switzerland to connect the rhone and rhine. Nothing was done, so that rhone can be only be used for very small ships.
It's worth mentioning that Bolivia lost its coast in a war they started with Chile to gain more coast and even formed a secret alliance with Peru to take more land from Chile. They lost.
That is false. Bolivia never intended to invade Chile. The only time that Bolivia and Peru were a possible threat to Chile (according to Chilean political leaders of the time) was during the Bolivian-Peruvian confederation which the Chileans made sure to split. The reason for the new alliance was to defend itself against a possible new Chilean invasion due to the strong increase of Chilean companies in the territories previously considered Bolivian. In addition, Bolivia left the war early because it was not in the best conditions for a war due to internal problems in the country, therefore it does not make sense that it would have been planning to invade Chile.
You forgot about virtually landlocked poor Russia. Some of its ports are not navigable round the year and the rest lead to oceans or straits controlled by NATO countries. Only a canal connecting the Caspian sea and the Persian gulf (called Iranrud) can solve the problems of : Russia, Belarus, Central Asian Countries and Iran.
Arctic Ocean, Baltic, Black Sea, Pacific Ocean coast line. I don't think that qualify as Landlocked. Otherwise we will have to include bunch of others countries simply because of geo-politics and climate difficulties
Why doesn't Bosnia have a port? It would seem like it would be a big advantage (to private firms or to the Bosnian government) to establish one there seeing as how the country doesn't have its own port as of this time.
It wasn't necessary when it was a part of Yugoslavia, after independence the country had a lot of internal fighting so they may have just not gotten around to it yet. This videos helps to explain the breakup of yugoslavia in more detail. ua-cam.com/video/oiSgAiM0d8A/v-deo.html&ab_channel=WonderWhy
In fact, Bosnia has 20 km of coastline -- although the two borders with Croatia are only about 8 km apart (the difference is accounted for by the inclusion in those 20 km of a long peninsula). Bosnia's one coastal town, Neum, is not very well suited to development as a port, however, being poorly linked at present to the country's interior.
The area is almost completely surrounded by Croatia and there just isn't a good amount of land near Neum to build a port, as some of Croatia's islands are quite close to it.
Over the few weeks, I've really come to love your channel. I just have 2 pieces of criticism for you to help you improve: 1) At 3:45 in the videop (and a few other spots) you represented Serbia with a light blue color, which is only slightly greener than the ocean. This was fine when you showed it as Serbia and Montenegro since it was connected to the sea, but once the map switched to show it in its landlocked state, it became really difficult to distingish the difference between the 2 at a glance. I would reccommend that in the future, you avoid using any light blue to represent anythong other than ocean or lakes. 2) The way you talk can sound really stilted at times. I haven't noticed this problem in every video, but I have noticed it in about half of them, this one being one of them. I can't really think of a good way to articulate why the way you talk sounds stilted, but I'll try: It can sometimes sound like you're trying too hard to put emphasis on certain words or phrases that you say. Also, it sounds like you force yourself to raise the end of your sentance. Most of the time, people don't raise the end of a sentance unless they're shouting or asking a question; in most other sentances, people drop their voice at the end of the sentance. Compare the way you would say these 2 words for a better example of what I'm talking about: Really? Really. I think this problem may derive from the fact that you subconsiously feel like you have sort of perform your script since you're doing it for an audience. I'm not sure how you would go about fixing that, but I think knowing that the problem exists is definately the first step for you to improve.

Great video!
this video makes me laughs so much for some reason I really don't know why 😂 2:26
One time in geography class the teacher asked a student to give an example of a landlocked country and she said the UK. 😄
Mine said maldives 🙄😒
2:26 treaty of what? Your voice sound weird 😂. Although great video 👍
Good content, but why are you shouting?
The honest answer is that sometimes when saying certain words my voice is a lot quieter then I like, so to compensate I try to speak louder.
Talking aloud in a clear way is a skill that needs to be developed. I've been practicing talking sentences when I go out for walks so I can get more used to talking out loud, but its still not something that is natural.
"quieter then I like" surely should be "quieter than I like"?
He is not shouting
kid. you said Bostwanza! it's Botswana.
who cares
Cursed man I mean, the same type of mistake could be the difference between Australia and Austria, and cause real confusion.
Dragon Dude Collecting 3:56 There's a tiny window of time where Kosovo says "Cannot into UN" and Serbia says "Why is everyone always leaving me?"

That actually makes the Guyana shield the world's second LARGEST island, and I'm genuinly suprised that nobody knows more about this.

2:26 The treaty of chevshsgae
In 2018, No stan countries have a coast on the ocean and have a mcdonalds
Pakistan: haha, i have a coast and mcdonalds restaurant
After 2018, Kazakhstan has a McDonalds
Pakistan: what?
Pakistan having more mcdonald's
Every landlocked country: im ok
Bolivia: *_GIVE ME MY F**KING OCEAN CHILE_*
You sound way to enthusiastic about this.
moldova actually needs very small teritory to get out of land locked zone
North America: we don't like landlocked countrys
Are there any nations that are landlocked by choice? Like that's just their historic territory with rivers or lakes?
I believe that's the case with Liechtenstein, as it's the last piece of territory created by the Holy Roman Empire to survive virtually intact.
Switzerland.
The Rhine is also being navigated all the way up to basel by merchant marines.
Read his comment again. He is not disputing that switzerland can navigate to the ocean trough the Rhine, just that further into switzerland the river becomes too shallow, and that the video falsely pointed at the rhone as a navigatable river to geneva.
Canada is the country with the longest coastline. Followed by Norway, Indonesia, Russia, the Philippines, Japan, Australia, the US, New Zealand and China as part of the Top 10 countries with the longest coastlines.
Not sure why others are being salty. I love the way you speak in these videos.
2:25 I wish the borders stayed like that :(
