I see many ways to bake a potato. I just put it in the microwave for 6 minutes. No wrapping, no poking with fork, just clean and microwave.

When I was a kid, I never liked eating over my friends house for dinner because her Mom always microwaved the veggies with plastic wrap over the bowl. They tasted odd to me, so I wouldn't eat them. Her Mother ended up getting stomach cancer and she died.

I just have one thing to say, try to avoid using a microwave period. If you want to know why I have an experiment for you so you can see for yourself. Take two identical plants, feed one plant purified water only and the other microwave water only. See what happens.

I was going to write the same thing. Don't use microwaves, full stop. Absolutely toxic. Destroys all nutrients in food. You may as well eat the container it came in, you'd get more out of it!
I don’t suggest doing the egg in the microwave without breaking the yoke. The yoke will often blow up and make a mess… I also don’t suggest putting plastic in your microwave as it will likely melt, even if you don’t see it and it is toxic.
Plus who has an absolutely clean plastic bag? I sure wouldn't nuke my potatoes in one.

My grandparents had a small farm before I was born. My mother said they would butter bread, roll the fresh corn in it then put fresh sliced tomatoes on the bread. Frequent summer dinner.

A lot of these tricks are for either lazy people, wasteful people, sick people, or just weird ass people lol. There was only a couple hacks I liked, but probably still won’t use

Please don’t try the eggs in microwave one. The yolk can explode and in the least now you have a messy microwave but in the most it can severely burn you.

You poke the yolk with the tip of a knife first. Hope that helps your eggs to not explode anymore

I microwave eggs all the time. Scramble them or puncture the yolk. Tried and true and makes for great grab and go breakfast sandwiches.
No banana bacon. Warning: Never put a towel on a pan that is on the stove.... Don't know why anybody even has to be told that, but don't.
RIGHT?!? I'm not the brightest bulb in the box a lot of times, but stoves/towels, oven mitts, etc not mixing should be almost instinctual! It drives me crazy if they're even too close to the stove! Maybe it takes having a fire before it registers? My vigilance came from a kitchen fire when I was 5, no towels even involved-- just a pan with grease or food in it and accidentally turning the burner on (gas stove, 1970, my elbow...). It's a good thing they now have those smaller fire extinguishers available to the public! Safe and happy holidays to you!😊

For the most part, your analysis is probably spot on! The only reason I watched the video 📹 to the end was for laughs! What else was I to do? An Amber Alert on my phone went off about 130 am. At 245, I knew I wasn't going back to sleep..So, I happened upon this video.

I think most of these are genius. Ive been a mom of 3 for 32+ years. You can also use fabric in your fruit and veggies, instead of paper towels. I make my own out of those Dollar Store or Costco shammies. I just cut them up and serge or sew around the edges. Work great for everything but grease. They don't wash well for greasy stuff . I buy 1 thing of paper towels a year or 2. Great to wrap around your potatoes and yams for mocrowaving as well. I myself like my pancakes with whipped, syrup and fruit. I have a hinged container to put my egg in. No mess! It's perfect for sausage and cheese afterwards on a sandwich.
