What a well thought out drama, I absolutely loved the storyline, fantastic actors, the theme song was stunning, and the song Jae Shin sung to Eun Shi Kyung was simply beautiful. Over the years I've watched this about 6 times its one of those timeless drama's that you never tire of.
This kind of drama in 2012! It really is ahead of its time, sad the viewer didnt appreciate it more. Still my best drama and OTP. Its not about the hero save the heroine but they save each other. There's no 3rd wheel, include a functional family (Finally). And the rocky start, the process to fall in love is realistic, the message is perfect, its not just about romance, its about politic, about family, the chara development is perfect.
The character development for them is awesome ..as always Jiwonshii is a badass action actress and for me her accent is cute even though some people find it cringy it’s like from childish to badass real quick .. can’t count how many times I rewatched this drama🥰🥰..
I watched this drama before CLOY, and this might be the reason why I never really felt the hype that other people watching CLOY felt. Yes it was sweet and funny. But King 2 Hearts gave me more than that.
Can I just say? Ha Ji Woon and Hyun Bin are phenomenal actors! K2H and CLOY are respectively well-made dramas in their own categories, but like what are the odds that my Secret Garden OTP would both later star in dramas where they speak North Korean dialect and they aren't even acting together! (...moment of epiphany after reading all the recent comments comparing the 2 dramas)

King 2 hearts was my first ever drama!!! Before, I always had presumption that K-Drama is always cheesy cheesy lovey dovey so I didn't have any interest in watching them. But this drama just made me open to more wonderful K-dramas!!! ❤️ I love the storyline, the characters, scenes. Also my first time watching Ha Ji Won and she caught my heart up until now

Well, K2H is still the best one and more better than CLOY. On the beginning, the romance of CLOY was so attractive, but unfortunatelly the more far episodes it goes the more plots sounds too bore and cringe because of the character of main couple itself were too crybaby, the sweetness looks so cheesy and doesn't realistic, but thank God it was saved by the plot and character of secondary main couple that at least was more realistic thru their sad ending plot twist. Unlike CLOY. The plot and character of main couple of K2H was far more realistic; the sadness, the romance, the funny, and even the conflict its show was goes equally and smooth, it makes want to rewatch it again and again. Last but not least, the reason why actually CLOY sounds cringe and disgraceful was because of the relationship of main couple was created by an affair. 😣😣

I don't have any interest to K Drama. The only K Drama i ever watched is K2H and I've rerun it more than the avengers or another box offices. When my wife recently recommended CLOY because of genre similarity, I just opened my netflix and watched K2H again.

Well, K2H is still the best one and more better than CLOY. On the beginning, the romance of CLOY was so attractive, but unfortunatelly the more far episodes it goes the more plots sounds too bore and cringe because of the character of main couple itself were too crybaby, the sweetness looks so cheesy and doesn't realistic, but thank God it was saved by the plot and character of secondary main couple that at least was more realistic thru their sad ending plot twist. Unlike CLOY. The plot and character of main couple of K2H was far more realistic; the sadness, the romance, the funny, and even the conflict its show was goes equally and smooth, it makes want to rewatch it again and again. Last but not least, the reason why actually CLOY sounds cringe and disgraceful was because of the relationship of main couple was created by an affair. 😣😣

I don't have any interest to K Drama. The only K Drama i ever watched is K2H and I've rerun it more than the avengers or another box offices.
When my wife recently recommended CLOY because of genre similarity, I just opened my netflix and watched K2H again.

Somewhat similar but it is far better than CLOY. not only a love story, it has also theme on politics, family and even psychological (Lee Jae Shin case). A lot happened which made it a best one. #myopinion
no offense but this drama King 2 hearts is wayyyyy much better than CLOY ive seen both drama this year 2020 infact ive watched CLOY first because i just discovered Ha Ji Won recently and for me she is such a great versatile actress better than most i have seen in k dramas
