  • Singing has been shown to stimulate the vagus nerve, a critical component of the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps regulate stress responses and promote relaxation. The vagus nerve, which extends from the brainstem to the abdomen, plays a key role in controlling heart rate, digestion, and respiratory rate.
