Paraphrasing, but while talking about the US economy and how he thinks it's due for a big reset he basically said, "Yeah, I know the economy is going to have a huge crash eventually, but for now I'm riding the wave". A westerner talking about normal things that happen in the east and looking at them from his bias. The bank loan example he gave, that happens even in india. Likely if you look in to the quality of those buildings they were just made to create jobs as those buildings are heavily subsidized. Not really made so people can live in. There are videos out there of how they are badly maintained and just slowly deterating, so by the time say a decade from now if China's economy continues to expand and you have people potentially moving withing those areas those places wouldn't be in condition to live in.
