In my opinion, only Wonhee’s visual suit the concept. The rest of the girls suit dark concept. But the 4 girlies just made it work.

Honestly, I feel like most of the girls on R U Next suited a darker concept too. So, when they chose the members for ILLIT, I feel like they chose those they thought could adapt to suiting this bright concept more.
I know a lot of people were unhappy with the lineup, but I feel like the five of them are able to suit this bright concept, especially Wonhee and Moka. When I think about contestants like Jeemin or Jiwoo, I think they might be less suited to ILLIT's concept than the current line-up.
I sort of feel like it is possible that they chose the concept to fit Wonhee figuring that the other girls would be able to adapt.

I legit hate how Hybe turns Yunah from a charming, snake-ai themed mature girl into a baby after debut. It feels like stuffing a college student into a preschool playgroup and seriously gets rid of her unique charm and visuals to fit the trend. It's really sad

She shined so much in the show, but with this concept she gets the most overlooked out of all members. I hope they resort to different concepts in future comebacks because this is honestly not doing her justice at all, she deserves better imo.

That’s what I was thinking. Cutesy and sweet makeup doesn’t fit her. I wish hybe opted for more of a karina type of look with Yunah, but sadly, a sweet, innocent, and fresh concept is illit’s concept.
