Oleg, thank you for all these great klips. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't even know how good Shotokan fighters you have in Russia. Greetings from serbian Shotokan brother.

And so little you know my learned friend about marial arts. What you see here is training in a controlled environment. I don't know if you have had the pleasure of training with some of the top karate instructors in the world but for the most part they are so fast with their hands and feet and so accurate that only one punch would take out an opponent. I have been training for over 25 years and have mised it with boxers and judoka. They all have strenghts and weaknesses.

If you can't put the English sub, can't you at least make the Russian translation covering the original Japanese sound into a Russian sub? In that way at least those who can understand the Japanese and Russian can both enjoy! It is also nicer and precious to be able to appreciate the original real voices of Japanese masters.

1997? was that in japan? that would mean we were both in Japan at the same time. but you are probably my sempai, this would make me at least younger than you. :-) peace!

i realise why you might think that but a well trained karate practitioner is just about as dangerous as a bare knuckle fighter when properly conditioned, but i have to admit some of the crap peddled these days gives it a bad name but there is a reason it reached such hights in the old days. i also have a balanced veiw as my granddad was a boxer and his a prizefighter
