I went the opposite way. Bought xl5 4tec and sold every stock electronic part. Spent my money on a castle s4 4600kv system and powerhd r12 servo. Flysky gt5 tx and rx at 7.5V. Installed my own stabilizer crossbars for free. I'm in like 200$ less than vxl version and keeping all my breakpoints plastic.

@@LuisLPRCs I purchased a high torque 1/5 scale 7.4 for my Traxxas UDR and I got 16 runs out of it and it's already burned up, same thing happened with my slash 4×4..... unfortunately. hopefully they honor their warranty. For $100 I should have got more than 16 runs out of it lol
