I tried several different cards (debt card, credit card, even revolut card). Always get the same error. I contacted the support and received the worst answer I ever received from any support "we can't help you with your problem". Just that!!!

1. Germany is a good location. 2. Mailjet provides a free SMTP relay. Or use Yandex (always better) 3. Nginx works fine 4. Had some issues with MySQL 8.0. MariaDB 10 works fine.
I created my account and I was happily using it and had deployed my nodejs server on docker and one day(within 20 days) out of nowhere, my site is inaccessible and when I login to check what the issue is, I find out that my tenancy has been terminated. Not much traffic, one or two users. After pointing it to a domain, I started getting a lot of hacker traffic, bots trying to brute force their way in, since it was a custom nodejs server, it couldn't be brute forced and I had pretty good security in place. I contacted the support, they'd ask are you a paid or free member and then give a msg that your account was terminated automatically and that they can't reinstate that and that's it, nothing further, support agent exits! No reason whatsoever! Any idea what could be the possible reason as to why it was terminated by the system automatically, what I may have done wrong?
I tried also dozens of times to sign up using several cards and at the end ,although the card verification step was OK, it got rejected. The answer of customer support for this: We are unable to resolve.
I tried to apply from Italy and I performed all the signup steps with success (included my credit card verification) but at the end the procedure completed with a no-go. I asked for a justification to Oracle Support, let's see what they answer. Could be that being from Italy I selected an US region?

Hi, I created free tier instance earlier & everything was fine. Recently they did update within a subset of Availability Domains in my selected region, they reminded me to migrate instance but I was unable to understand how to. Now the instance is terminated & I am unable to retrieve data & when I try to create an instance with the old boot volume, they show "No shapes are available in the selected availability domain", What can I do now? Hey there. It’s good for exposing instances behind a private subnet and using a singular public IP. It’s mainly useful for Proof of Concept work prior to deploying production, light websites and services. Edit: To answer your second question. There’s no limit to how many concurrent connections you can have, but is recommended to have stateless security rules when using it for higher volumes of traffic.
Hi; I bought two free oracle insatance. 4 core 24gb ram Ampera CPU. It costs me about 0.06 EURO per day oracle Billing (for block storage) service Whereas I bought it from completely free services. where did i go wrong ?
I think : 4 CPU + 24Gb RAM is max for free tier. If you want to use two instances, you can create 2 CPU + 12Gb ram for each instance, or 1 CPU + 6Gb RAM each instance if you create 4 instances

Love the follow up video. I never thought that I would have questions to ask until saw this. However, now that I have seen this and all the comments, I'd like to request for a video using Webinoly on the A1 flex shape for running WordPress. Then, on another Always Free instance like the AMD Shape that has only 1OCPU and 1GB RAM, run a mail server for the website in the A1 instance or something else (if possible) simultaneously to show that using both instances (or more free instances) work on an always free account. Brother when i create E2.1.Micro , in instance list it will be display Always free, But when i create A1.Flex, it will be not display always free in instance / so it's free or not ?
I tried, I was following all documented free tier things and yet it still took credit, I checked the FAQ and it said that once the credit is out or 30 days is over, all instances will be deleted, so I guess that means I’ll have to make powerful instances to drain the credit then use free tier
Does anyone know if there is a way to see when / which of the VM.Standard.A1.Flex compute instances are regarded as part of the Always Free Tier and when / which of them are not? Oracle's note on the instances page says "Each tenancy gets the first 3,000 OCPU hours and 18,000 GB hours per month for free to create Ampere A1 Compute instances using the VM.Standard.A1.Flex shape (equivalent to 4 OCPUs and 24 GB of memory). Each tenancy also gets two VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro instances for free. Learn more about Always Free resources". I have 2 instances of VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro and they are clearly labelled as "Always Free"... great! But I also have 1 instances of VM.Standard.A1.Flex with 2 OCPU and 12GB RAM, which is way below the available 4 OCPU, 24 GB memory as noted. This (A1.Flex) is however NOT indicated in any way as being "Always Free", so now that my 30 days of free trial has ended, Oracle send me an email, saying that at the end of the month, I will lose all resources which are not included in the Free Tier. So how can I know whether I will lose this A1.Flex instance, and why... seeing that their info / note suggests that the A1.Flex IS in fact also available in the free tier, with the stated limits in terms of OCPU hours, number of OCPUs and memory... and yes, I have read through the FAQs, etc. and I'm still confused because I can not find absolute clarity about the A1.Flex free tier status.
relax dude 😅 24hrs in a day X 31 days in a month X 4 CPU = 2976 (~3000) ocpu hours, same thing with 24gb ram (GB hours) ive been using this over a year, its definitely free

IBM's free tier does not seem as clear to exactly what you get without signing up.... I don't see anywhere where it mentions what type of hardware it's running on, or how many cores or ram you get? One thing I did notice is : After 30 days of no development activity, your service instances with Lite plans are deleted. Maybe that' s what happened to you???

you can use both, even split the ARM into two 2cpu instances works ok too

Usually around 100MB ram per basic site, 1000MB for woocommerce - as a rough guide

When I created one In France, I didn't have any of the always free vpses

I tried, I was following all documented free tier things and yet it still took credit, I checked the FAQ and it said that once the credit is out or 30 days is over, all instances will be deleted, so I guess that means I’ll have to make powerful instances to drain the credit then use free tier

Does anyone know if there is a way to see when / which of the VM.Standard.A1.Flex compute instances are regarded as part of the Always Free Tier and when / which of them are not? Oracle's note on the instances page says "Each tenancy gets the first 3,000 OCPU hours and 18,000 GB hours per month for free to create Ampere A1 Compute instances using the VM.Standard.A1.Flex shape (equivalent to 4 OCPUs and 24 GB of memory). Each tenancy also gets two VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro instances for free. Learn more about Always Free resources". I have 2 instances of VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro and they are clearly labelled as "Always Free"... great! But I also have 1 instances of VM.Standard.A1.Flex with 2 OCPU and 12GB RAM, which is way below the available 4 OCPU, 24 GB memory as noted. This (A1.Flex) is however NOT indicated in any way as being "Always Free", so now that my 30 days of free trial has ended, Oracle send me an email, saying that at the end of the month, I will lose all resources which are not included in the Free Tier. So how can I know whether I will lose this A1.Flex instance, and why... seeing that their info / note suggests that the A1.Flex IS in fact also available in the free tier, with the stated limits in terms of OCPU hours, number of OCPUs and memory... and yes, I have read through the FAQs, etc. and I'm still confused because I can not find absolute clarity about the A1.Flex free tier status.
relax dude 😅 24hrs in a day X 31 days in a month X 4 CPU = 2976 (~3000) ocpu hours, same thing with 24gb ram (GB hours) ive been using this over a year, its definitely free

IBM's free tier does not seem as clear to exactly what you get without signing up.... I don't see anywhere where it mentions what type of hardware it's running on, or how many cores or ram you get? One thing I did notice is : After 30 days of no development activity, your service instances with Lite plans are deleted. Maybe that' s what happened to you???

--I followed your 24GB ram tutorial thing, the location i chose (london) allows up to like 96GB ram, I did the max I could do without the service limits warning along with the custom disc size (ended up being around 9TB) although I started losing my free credit--
