Lol, that's exactly what my best friend and I did for each other. When she cried because her husband (back then they aren't married yet) cheating, I got so angry I slapped him and hit him many times, it took her and the other boys to stop me. When they married, after giving my words, in the stage I threatened him that if he dare to cheating again (especially since now they're married) I'm going to do more than slap and hit him. It got everyone laughing.
Six months ago, I had to broke my engagement with my ex-fiance because one of my ex-friend threatened that she's going to commit suicide if he didn't marry her. Of course facing with that kind of threat we don't have any choice but to do as she ask. I got so depressed and sad, I'm crying for weeks. When I told my best friend what happened, she and her husband immediately come to my place (I live in another city now). Just like me back then, she got so angry in my behalf. She told her husband to stay with me while she went to that girl's house. I don't know what she did, but when she come back she looks so pleased and smirking evilly, lol. But the next week, that girl and my ex-fiance move away to another city, no doubt because of whatever she did that night.

In my school, I've noticed that most of the guys get into minor arguments on what to do, sports, things like that, and make up soon after.
But with the girls, they usually get into fights because someone insulted their friend, and then, like, remain mortal enemies.
Again, this is only in my grade, but it's kinda scary tbh.
