I’ve got the maglev ball core version coming in the mail today, im super excited. I stepped away from the cubing world for a little over 5 years so I missed a LOT of development. My first main was a Dayan Zhanchi (yknow, the thing that was renowned for exploding at any wrong move) Before moving onto an original Moyu weilong GTS2. I’m an OG cuber 😂. These new techy magnetic cubes confuse me. Can’t wait to get my hands on them.

The corner cutting its capable of doing wasn’t even POSSIBLE on the highest tier cubes, last time i was involved in this community. It’s definitely the nicest 3x3 I’ve ever felt. Even the non ball core version. It turns super smooth out of the box, even without lube. I haven’t lubed mine at all. Or adjusted it. The magnets aren’t too intense, but they aren’t too weak either. They do their job as intended. You’re not gonna accidentally over-turn at all even if you finger trick hard. The tiles on the stickerless version are a matte tone too and it feels/looks really nice. It doesn’t look all shiny and cheap. Personally I think the plastic texture makes the turning have a unique smooth feel too. I’d highly recommend the maglev version without a ball core as a budget cube. 100%.

I'm sub 9 with it and Im going to purchase a new main and I have some cubes i want to main but don't know which. Only based on preformance, could you tell me which cube is the most smooth but dry (kinda)and fast (very fast) out of the three cubes I chose? 1. Moyu WRM V9 Ballcore UV 2. RS3M V5 Ballcore UV 3. Super Weilong Thanks
All of the 3 cubes you mentioned are pretty dry and fast out of the box(Moyu doesn't really put factory lube). I would eliminate the 3rd option though as some people said it felt like a wrm v9 but with adjustable magnets and an unreasonable price tag. For the other two, make your decision based on the magnet strength you prefer. wrm v9 has pretty strong auto-alignment(like the recent GAN flagships) but the magnetic pull on the rs3m v5 is milder as it doesn't have repelling edge to core magnets.

Rubik's cubes in brazil are very expensive unfortunately. So my question is: Are the Wrm v9 (ball core) and the rs3m v5 (ball core) different enough so that the price difference is worth paying for? What are the differences really?
To be honest, it doesn't matter if the cube is too fast or too slow or too sluggish in the core out of the box. These can be easily dealt with with the use of lubes. But the fact that cube manufacturers sacrificed the cubes' silence for even more speed. It kinda triggers me. I understand why they do that. But, let's use GAN as an example. GAN 12 M MAGLEV is the best out of all of the maglev series. It's just the best ya know?
What we rly need are some new 4x4s, we have the aosu wr m, mgc, and gts2m. Can’t speak about the mgc but the other two def seem out of date to a degree
For anyone wanting to buy this cube, just know that it is incredibly fragile. Dropping it on anything less than a pillow pretty much guarantees a corner breaking. It’s happened to me twice and is incredibly frustrating.

Hello, i want to buy some things on thecubicle but whwn i got to the shippment methods i realised something weird the cheapest shipping costed 70$ whitch made kind of sence (I live in Germany and the Produks wold arrive in just 2 Days), but I dont want to pay 70$ for shipping and when I tryed buing less things there was the same Shipping method for just 30$ (its called DHL Express Worldwide) and anotherone, which only costed about 7$ but would take way longer. I dont really care about how fast the products arrive (everything before christmas would be fine), but I dont want to pay more than around 20$ for it. I reckon Moyu is more the apple of cubing, like sure they’re cheaper than GAN but the amount of versions and options always funnels you into buying the most expensive version because the difference in price amongst versions seems negligible
Gan was like Apple, and they still kinda are, now moyu is like Samsung, and moyu is better, therefore samsung Is better (lets just say cubing brands and phone brands are confusing
