They have a battery tender junior plus listed for lead acid batteries/AGM sealed rated at 750mA. and then they sell another charger rated at 800mA listed for lead acid/sealed. And then they sell another one that's again only 800mA but is switchable, and lists for lithium and sealed. So would the non switchable 800mA still work in theory, For ion?
When the green LED is flashing the battery is greater than 80% charged and may be removed from the charger and used if necessary. Whenever possible, leave the battery on charge until the green light is solid. Whenever the amber LED is on steady, a battery is connected properly and the charger is charging the battery. The amber LED will remain on until the charger completes the charging stage. My Battery Tender Junior 800 failed less than two years into the five year warranty (purchased 11/27/2020). Autozone would not refund or exchange so I’m stuck with dealing with the manufacturer. Naturally it just failed on Labor Day holiday weekend so the manufacturer is closed until Tuesday. Emailed customer service so we’ll see. A number of repair videos exist which show the capacitors used by Battery Tender are garbage and you would think the manufacturer would have upgraded the part by now. My recommendation is do not buy and put yourself through the ringer.
It depends on the type of battery but most likely if its been totally discharged it wont ever hold a charge as well as it once did. With that said, if the battery has only been drained a time or 2, using a trickle charger like this will be your best bet to get it back operating.

You can start the bike while the charger is connected. If you are in the lithium setting on a non lithium battery you can cause damage to the battery.

How do know which option to set
You can look at your battery and see which type it is. Then select that option on the charger and you're good to go!

Should distilled water level be checked before charging ?
You should check the water level before charging. But if it needs water added, a battery should only be filled after it is completely charged.
Can i use the regular battery tender junior for Litithum battery too?
The regular Battery Tender Junior is only meant for lead-acid type batteries.
