To put into perspective how strong escanor is... It was exactly 11:00 when escanor defeated estarossa, 1 hour before his peak.

Yh the subtitles still seem off guys. Like on 3:18 escanor says 'burn it in your memories before u die' which sounds more badass than just remember it before u die :( anyways can't wait for next episode
The subtitles in Escanor vs. Estarossa fight were mostly pretty off and less badass than in the manga..... Even the ending in episode 21 was better in the manga : "Such insolent pride.." Escanor:"That is my sin." and ofc the ending "My mighty attacks cannot reach thee? And who Decided that? My blazzing sun was swallowed by a speck of darkness? And who deciced that? The only one who gets to decide such things... IS ME. BE GONE" just come on :D if they left it as it was in the manga I would be so much happier also the animation wasnt that good because these idiots spent half or even more of the budget on movie thats not even part of the story (I wouldnt be that agry if it was OVA on Vampires of Edinburgh) ... :(

For those who didn't catch what the angel said to derieri, I paraphrasing here but she basically said: "don't kill me, I'm sorry for killing all the women and children but we were just following orders"
Basically the goddess clan isn't so squeaky clean after all
For a while minute (I think) during the last 30 seconds before midday and the 30 seconds after midday, Escanor's powerlevel is literally unimaginable and uncountable, since it keeps climbing every second from the moment the sun peeks over the horizon in the morning.
Just wait till their reaction on season 3 episode 9/10 or so in a couple years. *The One VS the Assault Demon*

And btw that godess that deiri 1 shot in the ep, thats a very low rank, like about the same power as a red demon (lowest demon) so yea it wasnt cause of the human body that she got 1 shot that doesnt take away from their power, she was just outpowered by a landslide
About Escanor. They didn't say it here, but it will be quite important in next season, of course important if you like compare someones strength. There was still half an hour to noon, when he beat Estarossa, so Escanor was still long way from his top form. And even if I made mistake, and they said that, it's still fact worth to remember later. I promise.

You seem to be under the impression that the goddess clan is superior. The reason Nerobasta retreated was because she knew how strong Derrieri was; after all, she and Moonspeit shitstomped the arc angels and nearly killed their leader.

I'm not that sure if Denzel's body really weakened that goddess. 10 Commandments are after all strongest demons and they had a war against goddesses so it makes sense that Derieri who is one of the strongest Commandments can pulverize some lower/average class goddess.
