Not many people realize, these games are supposed to be played like this rather than sprinting... The sounds, flora and fauna, people and details are not there just because... It's build to experience exactly what you showcase in this video perfectly... Hats down to you for doing this...

Anyone who has not played these beautiful games on pot or mushroom do not realise they're missing out on one of the greatest pleasures of life, certainly one of the highlights of my own, these worlds come to life in ways you could never imagine.
I couldn't agree more. Walking in first person view in these games is a joy. Its like a historical jump to the past. I just hope they continue to implement the first person view to have this extra feeling of "being there". Cheers!
The route starts from the sea where boat makers work and at some point I hear seagulls crawling. As far as I know Ancient Olympia is very far away from the sea and so Athens is although not as far as Ancient Olympia. So I take it they aren’t any of them. By one statue very close to a gate in the city, a sitting in his rear feet lion this could be more of a representation of Pireas port of Athens which also has a tall hill in its grounds. Also Pireas at that time wasn’t a separate city from Athens those days it just seems that the route from the sea to the Acropolis is too short here unlike the reality which is about 8 to 10 kilometres. Anyways the animation is fantastic and I like the touch of sounds and phrases from the residents. Indeed inspired job.
Everything looks really thought out and realistic except for the athenians themselves which for some reason look ethiopian instead of greek. Southern europeans get an olive skintone from exposure to sun light.
The best looking Assassins Creed, in my country Greece.. and they fucked up so hard with the movement and parkour mechanics that i felt so embarrassed to play for more than 15 minutes. SO fcking SAD they INTENTIONALLY fucked up the good old AC Unity mechanics..
