The YSL Cassandra bag in green ostrich leather was a UAE exclusive and it was probably the most eye-catching bag I've seen in a while. I love the YSL Cassandra in the ostrich for you. I would’ve bought it if I would have had the funds. For me, I love that black Fendace bag with the safety pins that was up on the shelf. My heart jumps when I see that one!

Gosh, Dubai has changed an awful lot in the 20 yrs since I was last there. Looks nice. The green Casandra bag is lovely and if unavailable elsewhere, might be a nice reminder of your holiday/birthday. Oh, the LV Match collection was for the French Open, representing tennis not football. 😊

I love the Cassandra bag so much and that green ostrich is stunning!! I totally understand your hesitation because like you said, that price point is definitely Chanel territory!! But for me I do love exotics and the fact that it is an ostrich leather justifies that price. My husband actually owns several exotic wallets and he has great things to say about Saint Laurent’s exotics quality. Who knows maybe that bag will make its way to the UK someday and you will have another chance. If it’s meant to be…? 💕💕💕

Thank you for showing the Dior collection up close and personal I was on the fence about the natural fiber lady Dior tote looking bag think it’s called the d light i’m gonna have to pass as well it looks like it’s made out of coffee bags or something 😞! That beaded Lady Dior bag was fabulous that is a one-of-a-kind piece that I will cherish forever and keep in a glass case! and watching Romina try it on and it snagged her dress I just don’t know about that either definitely something to sit and look at but not carry around for me! I love that bright pink regular lady Dior bag! Classic and fresh at the same time!
That green ostrich Cassandra 🥰 it’s gorgeous! The Icare bag is a showstopper but it does look like it’s not that comfortable.

Dubai is very expensive. Much more expensive than Europe. For me to buy from Europe and also with the tax free it ll make around 600 euro difference

That was really a luxury shopping mall, I would not have been able to buy anything there, except for the ice cream. Although it was interesting to see it.

I think you should have got the YSL bag if you loved it so much. Bags should bring us joy, we should buy them to use them, and not to worry about the resale value BEFORE we even get it. I don't know how about you guys, but I invest in different ways. Bags are just bags, no matter how expensive. If I love one, and can afford it, I just buy it! Overthinking and overcalculating is not healthy IMO.
Yes honestly I would have purchased just because I love it - but the one in that store was scratched on the inside and it would have been my most expensive bag to date - more than my Chanel and LV, so I just can’t justify it.
i went to dubai mall yesterday. yes the mall is huge but i dont really like it cos the price of these luxury items cost slightly more than in my country too after conversion.... i ended buying the dior caro bag in rose cos the colour was out of stock in my country.
