I don't use cheats for story and mission walkthroughs. Tips & Tricks videos and Cheat Lists videos are obvious exceptions. In this case, there is no way to get a Skylift in TBoGT (console version) without using cheats, and also there's a Cheat list in the cellphone because I tried this trick several times until I managed to get the helicopter. It's not that difficult to understand the difference.

Really good memories back then, I really miss the time when I spent 45 mins struggling to get a big-ass chopper instead of grinding on the same missions in GTA Online in order to buy a vehicle that dosent really worth that price. I also miss the time when there were few channels on UA-cam about GTA, and each of them uploading quality videos.... instead of those who tell you to subscribe and hit likes in their long-ass videos nowadays.
A much easier way (for PC) would be to get the Simple Native Trainer and then spawn the Skylift. Plus, the magnet is usable (Car Options > Toggle Skylift Magnet)

does any-1 know of the invincible bodyguard glitch? the bodyguard at both clubs cannot die unless U attack them. jus go up 2 them and start a fight and make sure cops R around. u can use the wanted level cheat 2 make it a huge fight wit nooose and FIB. its so funny cuz the bodyguards outside of the club cant die by any-1 other than the player. if they get arrested.... they jus walk out the car police car

I've tried dozens of times and I did exactly what he did in the video. And I've been playing GTA 4 since I was 6 years old and there's no way to say I'm bad at helicopters. Or there is a version update and they fixed it because I did it right.
You can do this with the POLICE helicopter too. Just snipe the pilot, and hope the heli doesn't explode.. It does the spinning thing which you saw in the airport when it lands.
Like the way how that Maverick smashes into the Buzzard! :D Whenever I try to get the Skylift, I keep on failing because my cheats bit on my phone is full of cheats. :(
you will sometimes between 1am and 7am on your GTA IV go to either the beach or around the factory at the bottom of the map of the left island and the skylift is sometimes but theres security driving it so make sure you have that low wanted level cheat and then kill him and sometimes it will be lifting something in the air so after that it will start falling out of the air and QUICKLY get under it and make it land on a building, and btw, yes, this is hard so I wouldn't do it if I was you.
@xMOH4M3Dx No, because when IV released, the Skylift was not created at that time and Rockstar probably used a Maverick to temporarily take the Skylift's place.
Do you have the skylift? After the cutscene, yusuf drop you in a honkballfield. That honkballfield has a few small hills. When I spawn the buzzard, it appears on one of those hills!

Adds more of a challenge I guess, and once you pretty much do everything in the game, you have everything.

there is an option in Simple Native Trainer that allows you to attach vechicle to this helicopter.
