Dear Dr. Afrouziyeh, Thank you for your dedication to sharing your knowledge and expertise through your videos. We greatly appreciate the value and insights you have provided. One favor we would like to ask is for guidance in ruminant nutrition, specifically in the area of formulation. We have found it challenging to access practical information in this field and would greatly appreciate any guidance you could provide, or any recommendations such as mentors, channels, or resources that might be helpful. We appreciate all that you do and wish you happy holidays. Sincerely, Joey
Dear Joey Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm happy that my channel has been helpful. I have couple of videos about dairy cow nutrition on my channel. I will create more videos about ruminant nutrition and share it. Feed formulation (especially balancing the forage to concentrate ratio) is really critical in ruminant nutrition. Some traditional methods suggest providing forage based on body weight (for example 2% of body weight), which is totally outdated. There are more precise methods to determine the forage level in ruminant's diet especially for the early lactation phase. I'll provide more information about that for sure. Thanks again for your interest.

Thank you for your video.
I have question .. if you using chain feeder. What kind of feeds you use in laying period. Mash or pelleted crumble.
I would use crumble as its composition is more uniform than the mash
@@animalnutritionist thank you for your response.
