Clovis Flat Track Museum 100 Vintage Motorcycles and MORE!

Ride along in this episode with me on my 2007 Softail Deluxe and my buddy Scott on his 2015 Dyna Switchback to the legendary Clovis Ftat Track Museum in Clovis CA. This place a really a hidden gem in our area. They have 100 bikes of all different makes from Harley's and Indians to Rudge, BSA, Triumphs, Yamahas, Custom Rotax Race Bikes and much more. as well as tons of vintage motorcycle memorabilia. There's stuff from the 1920's to present day. It's an amazing collection of vintage motorcycles and Race memorabilia ..

Thanks for sharing, Dan and Kathy's hard work! Knew Dan as we were growing up and Kathy stuck by his side even though he was wheelchair bound. Great testament to love and his love for flat track motorcycle lives on in his one of a kind collection. People don't know what they're missing, there is alot of great history here!

I went to see this right after it first opened. 91 or 92 would be my best guess. No Harley Sprint flat trackers still. I wish I still had my Sprint. I'd donate it.

Nice collection of bikes the Rudge was made in Coventry England my friend's dad had one it had a bronze cylinder head . Cheers

I made a lot of flat track parts for BSA, Triumph, Harley Davidson, Matchless, Norton, fiberglass tanks, seats, fairings for road racing. Sonic Plastics from Hayward California. I'm from Alameda. I did the teams from BSA, Triumph and Harley XR's.

I grew up in Fresno.
My father was a member of the Fresno motorcycle club. 72 - 85. I’m sure there are photos of him racing.
Maybe even some of me.
That would be amazing to find some photos of me racing.
They all got lost or destroyed over the years.
I do have some memorabilia from the mid seventies though early 80’s like a district 35 race schedule from 1976 showing all of the races for that year and the rules are written in the back.
My father was district referee from 78 to 82 or 83.
I still have my hot shoe
I Went to a flat track race for the first time in 40 years, last week, the old feelings coming back.
I’m actively looking for a bike I can strip down and race.
I wanna slide one more time before I die.

I don't see my favorite flat track bike there. It was the 350cc ers harley sprint. They were made in Italy and on half mile and shorter tracks they would run with the xr750s!

Sprints were cool.. check the video I did a couple weeks ago about Mathew’s Harley Davison 70tg anniversary. We saw and talked about a racing sprint.. beautiful bike. Yes it was Italian mad, but Harley actually owned the aromacci company in Italy.. cheers!

Yup, Fresno and Clovis are classic examples of urban sprawl. They done sprawled into each other. Ride safe, they're both excessively full of treacherous pot holes.
