The Apple logo just flashes on and off after i replaced my port. I thought i has a bad port so i ordered another one and it does the same thing. It was not doing that with the original charge port. Do you have any ideas of what the problem is ?
Had a problem with the wifi/bluetooth "bluejean button" and it snapped off. Decided to go ahead and put it all together anyways to see if my charging issue was solved. While trying to attached the screen ribbons smoke came up. Very minimal but i'm assuming I fried something? What did I most likely do wrong? I'm getting nothing on my screen now that it's all put back together. Is my phone a complete loss now? I've changed batteries on iphones multiple times and screen replacementn but this was my first attempt at changing the lightning port....will also be my last attempt. Never again. Any advice would be appreciated, or troubleshooting tips to see if my phone is a complete loss.
I gave up and went to bed, woke up this morning and it was charged 100% and has worked fine all day. I don't know how that happened, but I am thankful :D
I have repaired a few iphones before and tried to do the port replacement on a 6S and when i got it all back together the phone doesnt have any service. Says 'No Service' in the top left corner. If connected to a network it will still IMessage. when not connected nothing works, cant call. Any advice of what i could have damaged or if you have ran into that problem.
