    I love your videos, sir. Just mentioning my two cents on the content of this video. I think you mentioned the averaging of the annualized return on different MFs to around 13%. It was wrong as the compounding doesn't work that way when you try to average. The higher percentage of return even on a low principal over a long period of time can surpass the lower percentage of return on a higher principal amount. This is some ideology behind Investment firms investing in different startups' work. Even if 1 or 2 startup gives a good return and another fails, the whole return in the long term is phenomenal.

    Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

      The US-Stock Mrkt had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled mrkts, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look. My husband and I are retiring this year with over $7,000,000 in tax deferred investments. up until 3 years ago we were 100% in the S&P. During bear markets we had a perfect plan. We got an investment manager in our corner and didn’t look at our portfolio for nearly a year.

      You don't need to do the step up option after a point, once the SIP becomes like 30k in 30s and around 40/50k later on. Just need to continue with that itself without something so crazy as 2L per month. 30k for 25 years at 13.8% should be good enough.

    Lets suppose I invest nearly 2 lakhs rupees monthly after 40 years then my monthly income will be around 10lakhs
    So I would be earning around 1.2 crores per annum . Then what would be the point of waiting for returns of 2 or 3 crores??
    And is it practically possible for a common man in India to get such salary hike to reach 1.2Cr/annum?

    Nice video to encourage investing;
    Provided some variables are involved, those are:
    1. Only investing in equity market, but not in other class of assets (eg: gold, debt)
    2. Should consider Expense ratio of the mutual funds.
    3. Tax structure (mentioned in the video)

    Invest in Land (Low cost high Qty)
    Invest a little in Stock and MF
    And no doubt in 20-30 yrs u can make it to 5-8 cr
    So make ur life a balanced one

    Money management is a thing which is easier to understand but difficult to implement especially long term. My definition of long term is 5 yrs. Beyond that like 10 yrs, 20 yrs is all a grey area and unknown territory, you do not have control. Say u invest 5L in multiple instruments and it grows at 12% cagr to become around 50L in 20yrs, you are not sure how that matured amount will be used at that point. If u spend that in a liability like car, abroad education etc then immediately the value of the money which was growing over 20 yrs reduces drastically. So my view is, one should have 2 splits one for spending and other for growth. So spending could be emergency, essential and non essential. Growth is reinvesting in equity, FD, bonds etc.
