    Dear Simon,
Thank you for this wonderful video! On the one hand I could watch you work for hours, but on the other hand I could listen to you for hours! It's very interesting to see what you think about your working process!
All the best from Hamburg, Germany

As one of your first online students it’s great to be able to see you here. I always remember how blown away I was when I first learnt about balance and thinking of gravity from the outset of the sculpture, I still think of it.
I guess my question is why now to start on UA-cam when you are clearly so busy? I do hope you don’t burn yourself out. All the best.

I had a big failure 2 years ago, up until that point I had worked my way to a prolific nature. Now I can't seem to bring pen to paper so to speak. Everything feels undeserving of the time it would take to complete, so I never start or even never get past the first hours work (sculpting Zbrush)

I think this was a great , 1) Seeing the what you can capture in 30 minutes is always motivating, 2) It gelled some ideas that even evading me during class. Manipulating the masses isn't simply a way to arrive at a cool pose, you are actually making the figure do something and making an action happen from this 'life infused' process. Just seeing it unfold in a demo was great, please after u recover from this all-nighter keep the videos coming!

Thanks for the support and kind words Josh! I'd just sent off my update to the client for the day. Heading to the gym in 5 hours, then a full day of design starts all over again. No rest for the wicked, but I love my art and I love my life.

I always loved your designs and sculpting videos, and I'm very glad to see that you are back after a longer period of time, creating more videos and sharing your broad knowledge.
I'm not a sculptor, but I really admire the medium and all the efforts that go into producing the final piece.

Hello Simon, I have seen your live on UA-cam, I feel very identified with all the topics you talked about, I work with Zbrush, personally I really enjoy what I do and I give great importance to creativity. I work a lot on my self-esteem, I exercise, I eat very well and I try to surround myself with people who do the same as me. The problem is that sometimes people appear with hurtful comments and they make me shut down emotionally and that limits my creativity. My current situation is positive, I am very grateful that I have a job and I really enjoy the process, but these emotional wells and the lack of support make me doubt if what I am doing makes sense or not...
I know it's a crisis, I've been through another one, but it's a horrible feeling and I'd like to prevent it. At the moment I cannot afford the cost, but I would like to take the course with you in the future, I am fascinated by the look and maturity that you have on art and life, people like you make me have hope again. I almost sent you a private message, but maybe your answer will help someone else. Thank you very much and I will be attentive to your future lives. Cheers!

      1. Google the topic of how to deal with / handle rejection. It’s a critical skill to have when trying to expand our career and just life in general. This part requires lots of introspection but it’s worth it. 2. Remember that we’re the average of the top 5 people we spend the most time with. Having like-minded friends is comforting but it’s very likely that they share similar mindset as you in the area of dealing with rejection / harsh comments. There’s no need to change friends but expose yourself to “higher ideas”e.g. reading biographies of people that were able to overcome extreme hardship and excel in life. When you shift your attention onto finding solutions, it will draw your attention away from the negativity 3. “Those that love us, we wish them well. Those that don’t, can go to hell.” Fuck all haters and focus instead on building connections with people and followers that support and love you. Life is too short and precious to waste our time on those that don’t deserve it.
