Humans of Charkesar (with English subtitles)

Чаркесар - поселок, находящийся в предгорьях Кураминского хребта, в Папском районе Наманганской области. Рядом с этим поселком многие годы осуществлялась добыча урана.

Фильмы «Humans of Charkesar» и «Humans of Yangiabad» подготовлены совместным проектом ПРООН, МЧС, ОБСЕ, реализуемом при финансовой поддержке Европейской Комиссии. Проект направлен на снижение рисков негативного воздействия урановых отходов на людей и окружающую среду.

Charkesar is a village located in the foothills of the Kurama Range, in Pap district of Namangan region. For many years, the village served as a uranium mining site.
Listen to these stories of people who witnessed the formation, development and completion of the uranium production in Charkesar. Find out how the life of its residents changed in the 90s after the mine closures and how the radio-ecological situation affects the people of the village now.
The short films - "Humans of Charkesar" and "Humans of Yangiabad" - were produced by a joint project of UNDP, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the OSCE, funded by the European Commission. The project aims to reduce the risks of a negative impact of uranium waste on people and the environment.

Chorkesar - Namangan viloyatining Pop tumanidagi Qurama tizmasi tog'oldi hududlarida joylashgan qishloq bo'lib, bu qishloq yonida ko'p yillar davomida uran qazib olish ishlari olib borilgan.
Chorkesarda uran sanoatining paydo bo'lishi, rivojlanishi va tugashi guvohiga aylangan odamlarning samimiy hikoyalarini tinglab ko'ring. 90-yillarda ishlar to'xtagach, shahar aholisining turmushi qay darajada o'zgargani hamda shahardagi radiatsiyaviy ekologik vaziyat undagi odamlarga qanday ta'sir qilayotganidan xabardor bo'ling.
“Humans of Charkesar” (“Chorkesar hikoyalari”) va “Humans of Yangiabad” (“Yangiobod hikoyalari”) filmlari Yevropa Komissiyasining moliyaviy ko'magida amalga oshirilayotgan BMTTD, FVV, YEXHT qo'shma loyihasi doirasida yaratilgan. Loyiha uran chiqindilarining odamlar va atrof-muhitga salbiy ta'siri xatarlarini kamaytirishga yo'naltirilgan.
