The artist is balinese his name is I Nyoman Nuarta but i lived in different region which is bandung city but here in bandung he's build art gallery near to my home i always get met in the street everyweek haha and he is so humble and anyway some part of the statue is making in bandung too he always say he love bali and bandung so proud of him kinda inspired me

That is not the most famous park in Indonesia. Most famous park is still National Monument park or called Monas park in Jakarta. Though its not as fancy as GWK, its still the representative of Indonesian independence, hence the reputation. GWK is most famous in Bali probably, but not Indonesia for sure. Majority of Indonesians living outside Bali do not have any idea about this park.

GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) marvelous statue at Ungasan hills, required 23 years to complete built by Nyoman Nuarta (famous Balinese sculptor) the best time to visit here during sunset
