This is my first movie ever made with BeamNG.drive. I played BeamNG for a while already and I thought it's time to put some work into a realistic Highway chase with some DECENT CGI explosions 👌. It was so much fun that I'm already working on my second big BeamNG movie. For those that wonder how the heck I created the explosion: I have some skills in after effects and gave it a go...

Damn, you can really feel the sense of fear of those traffic cars seeing them slamming the brakes and reversing.
Totally agreed. That's why I enjoy doing it. Simulating the natural behaviour of what drivers most likely would do. With all respect for the BeamNG AI, but nobody would just break and just horn after 6 seconds. And simulating the real behaviour was definitely the most challenging part of this movie, that also took the most time of the past 5 weeks.

@@CrashFrontier I wouldn't say that slamming the brakes/ pulling the handbrake and spinning out and crashing is the most realistic behaviour (especially not with never cars that have abs/esc), but it is very dramatic and fun to watch for sure!

@@CrashFrontier No, but I wouldnt lock the brakes/pull the handbrake, spin and slide into the danger (This would be almost impossible to do even in panic with a modern-ish car), I would brake and pull to the side, without spinning out and crashing. :D

Absolutely fantastic, just some “maniac-level details”:
-in Italy, there are New (98-Now) license plates (that always start with a letter that goes from A, without blue stripes, to G for now, Z or X for imported vehicles) and old ones (that start with the city’s letters, NT for Norte in this case, followed by 6 numbers)
-there are more cars like tograc, etk and Fiat Uno than gavril or pessimas (except for the newer one)
-the license plates of police vehicles are without blue stripes and with a shorter license number, like the van in 3:38
