Introducing the Humble Road micro camper - We call her Mini Me! A Solo Traveler - FULL TOUR!

- The Mini Me is built on the RAM Promaster City platform.
The base build is $35,000 with only a few options to add on at this time. As new innovations, features and options are developed, I will be sure they are backward compatible for all Mini Me’s.
The floor plans are all the same, you get a choice of flooring, wall colors and fabric. I am still working on my new Humble Road website, but I have a list of features in the Mini Me section for you to review. And I welcome any suggestions you may have.
As time goes on, I’d like to develop a Mini Me Owners Group, including a forum and “get togethers” or rallies in the future.
At this time, I have one brand new Promaster City vehicle in my possession for a Mini-Me build. The sticker price is approximately $33,000.
I have also been searching used vehicles, 2017, 2018, 2019 with less than 30,000 miles. They range from $25,000 - $29,000. New or used, I will secure the deal for you, but then I leave the purchase and any financing arrangements up to you.
So depending on a new or used vehicle, the total cost for a Humble Road micro camper is between $60,000 - $70,000. If you would like more information or to move forward, fill out the request form on my website. (humbleroad.tv)

So being of the 6’2” persuasion and having been involved in the building of these beautiful little ladies, I would like to take this opportunity to plead with the general public to buy as many as you can. This would be a kind gesture to compensate for my pain and suffering squeezing my oversized frame into the delicate confines of said Mini-Me’s to aid in bringing you these fine specimens.
This experience has also made me realize I need to go on a diet. I hope you all enjoy George’s vision come to life and it has been an honor to come along for the ride.
Thank you Ron!
@Becky ❤️I appreciate the kinds words Becky. 😊 I couldn’t ask to work for a better guy!
Ron thanks so much for your sacrifice 🤕and awesome contributions to the Humble Road team. I imagine it really was difficult but I’m sure you’re proud of your work. George speaks highly of you in his videos. I’m certain the shop will be very busy making more mini mes.
Don’t eat anything with seed oils in them. You’re an America. Our food is laced with them everywhere.
I’d love to know how tall George is so I could picture how much headroom there is between the bed and the roof. This is a really cool build. I hope to be able to buy some day when my kids go to college.
Perfect for your target market. The average U.S. male is 5'9" tall and the average female is 5'4" tall (according to the CDC). And I know that you are working on an idea for us larger folk. Take it from me, a former full-time B van dweller, you are hitting all the right buttons. As a wise older gentleman once told me: "if you don't have enough room for your stuff, you have too much stuff!" Long live the Humble Road!!!
Yep, 5'9" olde guy "senior"here...
So a 5'7" person should be able to sit up straight? I'm allergic to wool, would a mattress cover handle that?? Can the window fabric be removed? I love this!!
I'm a transtaller. I'm 5'6 but identify myself as 6'2.
Yep 5'4"
Finally someone did a conversion without a king size bed. Rly cool, compact and effective, my respect.
George, as soon as I saw “mini-me” and “full tour”, I quickly hit the play button and had the biggest Christmas day smile 😊 on my face. Thank you so much for finishing this up and walking us through this incredible build. I think these are going to out sell anything else you have at the shop! Such incredible value within a small space! This and a planet fitness membership and you’re good-to-go solo!
Happy holidays!
Ditto. I could not have said it any better.
@@HeidiCFranks Hey, cousin. ;)
@@HeidiCFranks 😂 I don’t know 🤷🏽♂️ Just being friendly about your comment. Why did I offend you?
Double the gas mileage of full size Sprinter!
I wonder how many of these full time vanlife people r staying put. Those massive military rigs getting 7mph down a mountain w tail wind running diesel @ $4.9 (avg US today).... I certainly couldnt & wouldn't afford that, but I'm very minimalistic
I'm amazed at the work you do, and glad to see it in a tiny camper.
This is the best compact camper van build I've ever seen, looks wonderful, and has all the essentials.
love this guy, his passion, his vision, his motivation, his vibe, ... I'm a George/Humble Road fan!
So smart! Love it!
Wow!
I would never be able to afford one of your vans (I’m on disability) , but you have given me inspiration to put in my own build.
Great build. Next level stuff!
Amazing build
This van is 4 season also 100% off grid love it .
As an older single female person, this looks absolutely perfect. Would love to see it when you have the hutch in place. Just wow.
A new level mate!!. The elegance, workmanship and thought of the Mini-Me has set a new standard. What uniquely makes it extra special is your explanation, commentary and wit. Well done George.
Wow what a super clean and inspiring build!
Mini comment for the mini me, Superb!
Big thanks
Brilliant!!
Totally impressed …. Not surprised by the Mini Me for one van . I would expect nothing less than a well thought out creation from the Humble road team of craftspeople .
Nice work on the reveal George. A RV with30 mpg …wow !
It could also be a great day tripper for a couple to use. Maybe even a Toad for a large class A, possibilities !
👍
Glad you like it!
that tilt down clothes storage is so satisfying
Where is storage for food, dishes & outside chairs? Love this mini me for this 83 yr old healthy fiesty grandma!❤ ❤
George you are the Bob Ross of Van builds. Thank you for sharing. 💖👏
Salutations. Quality craftsmanship is clearly a common staple in your family. The skill and compassion you both put into your work is easily seen throughout the entire build process and custom finished products. I find it quite refreshing to see a father and son working together in this ever changing world. All too often anymore, families tend to drift apart into their own separate worlds. You don't sacrifice the opportunity, you embrace it and set aside time to enjoy with your family. Have an amazing vacation and enjoy your time off with your loved ones. Safe travels and congratulations to you Alex.
Every van builder should watch your videos. You continually raise the bar.
This van is 4 season also 100% off grid love it .I want one in in England
My husband and l are so impressed with your craftsmanship. We love watching your start to finish builds. Your videos and their quality of content surpass all others. Thank you for your hard work put into building the vans and your videos. Most appreciated.
Thank you, Lynne!
Looks good. I would suggest offering the the following options:
Exterior shower
Removing the smart cord storage area to allow a longer bed.
Have the bed hinged to raise up to make a backrest like a lounge chair.
Exactly what I though. Fit us 5' 11' guys! Just trying to figure out how much of my crap I will have to jettison to camp with it. Otherwise it's perfect.
excellent suggestions! :-}
I work remotely and would like ideas of how to work comfortably with dual computer monitors.
@@margaretchandler6194 Mount the monitor to the wall next to the sink.
@@fountainvalley100 I’m more concerned about comfortable seating. Not sure if I could work from the bed all day every day.
So great! Congrats on finally getting this to market. Know you have really put a lot into it. Appreciate your work, and the fact that you have been so diligent in sharing your process. It’s been great to tag along! ❤️
Much appreciated!
This is absolutely fantastic. Quality micro camper, everything thought out with quality construction. It has everything one would need to hit the road, less weight with better gas milage is key. Well done.
I love the use of the extruded aluuminum throughout the build! I want to buy one of these vans and do this myself.
Great build. You may want to consider options (storage) for someone who wants to take the passenger seat out and make use of that area.
Whoo hoo George is back !
This van is PERFECTION ❤️ I’m preparing to hit the road April 2023 and THIS IS THE ONE☝🏾
I can already hear the oohs and aahs of my sisters! Lovely finishes 🚐 I love the idea of a mini-me group and outings!
We're ready, how many would you like? 😊
I absolutely LOVE your videos. I literally laughed at the circles and driving back and forth in the beginning. If you had been assigned to showcase your personality without words, you couldn’t have done a better job.
Of course, I love the MiniMe, too. Some day…
This was the best presentation of a build I’ve ever heard! Your amazing! 🥰
Outstanding! Every thing is so well thought thru and it's so elegant. I want one! I'm only 5' tall so this is PERFECT for me!
George, you and your crew did an outstanding job on Mini Me!
When I was a kid, I wanted to be tall. I got my wish. Now here you come along and build a Mini-Me, and now I wish I could be short. ha. George, I love this build. Perhaps when I get a little older, I will shrink like most old people do, and be able to fit in your custom Mini-Me. Well done Sir.
Stay tuned my overgrown pork chop. I've got something up my sleeve for you folks.
I used to travel solo with an aliner alite camper. This mini-me puts all that and more on just 4 wheels. Beauty! I think many women would like this little getaway machine!
cute neat comfy build
Thank you! 😊
I think I need a version of this in a 36” wheel base, Pro Master, high roof. I want to be able to stand up and need a small garage to store a folding bike and perhaps a small nook for my dog. God willing, you are still my builder George.
I like the industrial erector set look and the versatile openness of this build
Too cute van.❤️
Excellent organisation and functionality in a tidy unit- great work George and Humble Road team 🥰👏🏾
Thank you kindly
I smiled the whole time I watched this video 😀
Looking good. The Mini Me is the perfect one man traveler. I enjoyed the tour and the various choices.
I think you might get in trouble for saying "one-man." It could go on your permanent record! 😳😁
@@HumbleRoad 😂
I'll be the first to welcome you back George.
Humble road is definitely giving you the blueprint to how this $@it works, 🙏🏿 👍🏾 most people don’t give out all their how to without some type of kickback. I’m already a subscriber for sure. He is on point and definitely has the knowledge, older people have been there done that and I can tell that with his builds as far as what works and what doesn’t. Most other UA-camrs are just doing this for views but I personally appreciate the knowledge.
Such great, thoughtful design. 👍👌
It's great, neat, even is easy to get to,love this conversion. Amazing. I looked at alot of small conversions for my height 5'4" it's completely cool; probably could stand up inside too.
Mini Me turned out so beautiful
What a great build and affordable price!
Crazy cute. There would be a HUGE market for this. The 4x4 option would rock too, if that was available.
This is a great build
Wow, wow, wow. Stunningly beautiful and efficient. This has everything. Did I say Wow!?
Another exquisite build George. Kudos to you and the team 👍🏻
Loved your presentation method! And the mini me!
One word: Quality. A rare find in a U.S. campervan. Great components and design.
Congratulations! The Mini-me is just beautiful!
Absolutely brilliant George. Only two things and you will have achieved total perfection.
1. A magnet attached screen for the camp side slider door.
2. An out side shower. The shower is total luxury, I can get that done with the pump up sprayer.
Sure we’ve thought of those things and more but I need to keep the price at a certain place where more people can afford it. Those options can come later.
Love this!
Very nice build as always! Love the sturdy and well thought out technical details, as well as the beautiful matching-wood drawers and the nice tail light covers.
I love this little van, I want one!
That garment tray is amazing
I love the way you explain every detail, George, you are awesome, very intelligent and unique, I'm impressed with the work you do. God bless.
Oh the mighty Mini Me!!! Certified proof that size doesn't matter! In fact, the smaller the better for we "get off my lawn" folks! Also, the perfect mobile dog house for when the significant other would rather remain independently significant away from you... As always, a wonderfully thought out and tasteful design! Cheers George!!
Thanks Perry. As soon as I build one for myself, I'll be by for some bread! 😊
@@HumbleRoad Right on George!! Thanks for noticing! That property has been my design project for way over a year, so hoping to finally wrap it up so Little Loaf with my pastry chef daughter, Julia, can joyfully offer the community artisan breads and pastries! By all means come on down to Wilmington! You are always welcomed!! It would be an honor!!
Incredible job George! Top notch engineering, efficiency quality materials and components, superb craftsmanship and of course plenty of " options " ! I recommend and forward your work to everyone I know! I'm a tradesman and I know quality, craftsmanship and pride in one's work when I see it! Looking forward to your next invention 👍
Great build! I like the awning too with suction cups!
Wow! George, your ingenuity never ceases to amaze me! Now if only you could open a “mod” shop to help out current van orders needing some help updating or maintaining their vehicles! I’m from LI and finding anyone reputable to do such work is sketchy at best. I’d make an appointment with you right now!
I'm working on it, but it takes time to do it right.
George, what a great design and work of "MiniMe". The fully accessible concept and design is really practical for users.
I love it.. i love it.. i love it.. a easy to pack up and go van on the road .
I'm 5'16" no mini me for me😭😭😭.
What a Phenomenal design and build 👍👍👍
I've been inspired by your videos since day one. I designed a Promaster high roof 136 wheel base and love it. But, and there's always a but, we downsized to a condo where it would need to fit in the garage. Eventually I wanted to get a Euro van, which would fit, and redesign the interior. The Mini Me is an option. A couple of things which I would want to change about yours. 1) I would like to be able to see out the windows on the side and back. 2) Wish it had a pop top for standing room. That's what I love about the Euro van (we had a Westfaila). 3) A swivel passenger seat 4) On the rare occasions when my husband would join me, a pull out platform to extend the bed. Otherwise a wonderful build as usual. Congratulations!!!!
What a salesman! Very, very well done video. Filed away in my mem for later prosperity.
The Humble Road build is full monte.. nothing is left not considered.
For me though, being now 60, I consider this van to be most appropriate for a younger traveler. I recently settled on a tall-roof, Ram ProMaster 1500. The main reason I purchased it this last December is, I had rented a low roof camper van in November 2021. This old body really did not enjoy having to stoop all the time. For further evidence of my conclusion here, I had used a van to travel the country in 2006 when I was a bit younger, and I had no problem with the low roof. Last November, however, it was a problem. I had pains here and I had pains there, and most of it seem to be related to having to bend over all the time.
Again, this is a wonderful build and for some 20 somethings and for some 30 somethings I believe the magic is there for the taking. For us 60 somethings, not so much. Peace…
I had to watch this in several segments. This is a thorough, informative introduction to your mini me.
When your team is able to adapt this for a ram pro master 1500 tall roof, please count me in. Mine is it 2021 and it only has 10,000 miles on it. It would be perfect for this build, only it would have the taller roof for me since I am over the 5 foot, 7 inch suggested maximum height. Serious.
I continue to be more than impressed with the quality workmanship of your vans. No major upfitter comes close to what you do. I have a 2021 Beyond 22C Ford 350HD AWD and continue to fix problems. I can see a version of your tilt-down storage over the driver and passenger finding its way to my van. Such a great idea. Can not wait to see your "The Big Beautiful Beast - Ford Transit 350HD" build. We follow Debbie and John on UA-cam they are going to live the Ford.
I ❤ what you did with those little Van's, here in Europe we have a lot of those, but not much in RV conversion, You gave me so much idea's ,
Thank you !!!!
I was grinning, giggling, nodding, and applauding not stop. BRAVO 💃🕺🏻🥇
You are such an intelligent man, you thought of everything. You're amazing. I really want one.
My goal is to get on the road in the next 5 years and this is exactly what I’m looking for…. Outstanding!
Love it, kept thinking yes, good idea
Great Work Mr. George & Company. Its beautiful
Great job, George. I have USB fans. They are surprisingly strong. 👍
So glad you’re back!
I love the erudite completeness of information, but most of all I love the wry smile or the expression that says ,"So, how could you decide on anything else?" or " What do you think I am, Steve Jobs?" Always laughing and smiling while watching your videos! Thank you!
Your builds are so well designed and everything is so tidy. Beautiful. I just finally got my promaster city and it already had a build out in it, so I'm stuck with that for now (at least it has a maxx air!), but I love that you threw in a review of the vehicle. The cab is so comfortable and roomy! I added rain guards to the windows for extra ventilation. I've looked at a lot of promaster city van builds and yours is the gold standard.
Brilliant presentation! I live full-time in the same van. I am very pleased with mine also.
I am jealous....what a beast of a minicamper! Hope to see it in the Netherlands once!!
Very well thought out; attention to every detail. Nice work.
Looks Great!! 👏
Terrific job, probably your best design and layout yet!
Great demo George. Love the walnut galley. The total appearance is beautiful.❤❤❤❤
I hope you will continue to justify building “Mini Me’s”. I believe there is a large population of single wanderers able to afford a Mini Me. My opinion … many people have big wallets, but many more, have a budget that may just be able to afford a quality Humble Road Mini Me build. Hope you don’t forget that silent majority single nomad. 👏🏽🙏🏼🇨🇦👏🏽🙏🏼🇨🇦👏🏽🙏🏼🇨🇦
Your build quality and well thought out design are on another level! Fantastic build!
I have missed you George, thanks for the video.
I love your "Mini Me" & that's what I would buy if I had my pick! I like that Moon Shade & that rap around shade is neat idea too! I can picture u playing that piano at the ending of video🎹👍🚐😎✌️
Wow !!! I need this Van in my life !!! Awesome build !!!
That's one cool van!
37:20 omg I’m in love.. your build is amazing & perfect.. it’s like you read my mind.. 😊
I’m going to preview two new Promaster City vehicles this Thursday! Do you want one?
All I can say is AWESOME!!!!!
I was starting to get worried about you, George! Beautiful work!
