why is the sun shrinking in size? Since it's soo huge and so far away, it should remain constant size and not shrink when going past the horizon... simple logic

QuantumFrost It has something to do with the atnosphere, and curvature of the horizon I think. The Sun isn't actually shrinking, obviously. It happens a lot. I'm no expert, but I think that's what it has to do with.
If your flat earth model was correct, then the sun would be gigantic overhead, that clearly is not the case, and it would get smaller and smaller as the spot light moved further away but the sun remains the same relative size from sunrise to sunset. The Earth is a globe. 😂

The Sun is massive, 93 million miles away and only _appears_ to get larger because the rays begin to shine through less and less atmosphere as the angle changes. The Sun stays the same size throughout the day.
