Many thanks for this tutorial. Would this blessing be appropriate if there were a mixture of food types including the foods you just mentioned but also with wine, grain and meat etc on the table, or would separate blessings have to be used for each foot type represented? Greetings from Scotland 👍
Shalom and thank you for watching . This video is a part of a series of other videos, all regarding blessings over food. I've attached the link for you, enjoy and G-d bless you ua-cam.com/play/PLJZqnABgcy2DqakdRPm2ZBgcF8QD46pE4.html
Hi and thank you for watching! Although there are no specific prayers for school or examinations (I assume you're talking about the school or university tests, right?) You can ask Hashem to bless you and help you and ask for : Sheyipatchu maayanot hachochma (שיפתחו מעיינות החוכמה). You can add a prayer for general protection: Miymini Michael, mismoli Gavriel, milfanayi Uriel , meachorai Refael umealayi shchinat El. Good luck!
Hi and thank you for watching. we always put the English transliteration in the description of the video. In order to connect to the right frequency, it is better to say the blessings in Hebrew. The Blessing in English is "Blessed you are G-d King of the Universe, by who's word all things came to be".
What is the pronunciation of what you spoke in the blessing... can you please write that in English for me so I can study how to properly speak the blessing please and please translate to me in English what the words are. Please.
Hi, thank you for your comment. The pronunciation (Transliteration) is in the description, under the video. And here it is again: Baruch ata adonai eloheinu melech haolam shehakol nihiya bidvaro The meaning is: Blessed are you, Hashem our God, King of the universe, through Whose word everything came to be.
Thanks! I noticed I said it wrong.. I said 'nihèjè' (with a short 'e'). Know I know it's ''nihèja'. So what was I actually sying? (When pronounced like nihèjè.) Does it have a meaning?
@@LetsJewish Tadah rabah! Can you please tell me how the vowel sh'va (nakh) sounds? I always pronounced it as a short 'è' (eh) but now I am confused because here it is an 'i'?
Thank you for the comment. In judaism food is very spiritual. What you eat is what you become. The food should be kosher- good for the body and the soul. It really depends on the food's ingredients. Kosher food has many laws, for example, we are not allowed to eat pork, camels, horses, vultures, shellfish and all seafood beside fish with scales. Also we are not allowed to mix or cook milk and meat. There are more laws and we will do our best to make a video about it soon. All the best.
@@Vikram-qd6so we are also vegetarian :-) . The blessing goes by the major ingredient in your dish. If you eat bread the blessing for the bread will cover the whole meal. If you eat a dish of grains and a dish of vegetables for example pasta and a salad, you need to bless the pasta and then the salad (different blessing). You can go to our channel to watch the other blessings for other types of food.
