Really Disappointed with Low Opportunities in IIT's Through DA 😢😢
We request the IITs and IISC's to open the admissions through GATE DA otherwise plaese remove the paper, a lot people are trusting the institutes and dedicating their time thinking they will get opportunities.Hereby we request them to provide opportunities or else lot of people have wasted their precious time, money for nothing
In Robotics and Autonomous Systems Course in IIsc, DA is not allowed but areas of study include ML and deep learning. DA has to be included in this course
They are prioritising Gate cs over DA in data science based course absolute non sense
Paper lekar admission brochure update nhi kiya🙄. I dont understandd why DA students are not allowed in DA related branches
It is a stupid decision to take exams and not give opportunities to DA students
Full support🙏🏻, thankyou so much for the initiative, i wrote da, prepared extensively for the last 7-8 months, and it feels so demotivated to see no opportunies ahed, even though this paper is best suitable paper for the ai and data science, students from this paper who has scored decently has very strong foundation in da but still not eligible, this should be the first most revent paper for ai and ds, requesting all iit's to look forward and pls include this paper to take admission in the respective ds and ai courses!!
they announced this new paper during gate application time only. then how did you know it before 8 months?

I don't know how in Data Science and Artificial intelligence related field, specifically for Artificial Intelligence, Computer science is valid, there are hardly any subjects that relates much with Computer science in Artificial Intelligence at core.
In all iits there should be clear information about DA paper because we also deserve same apportunities as CSE student.
I studied very hard and got 1180 rank in DA but looks like I won't get any seat in IITs because no department is allowing DA paper. At one point is was said to be best industry ready course and now no IIT is ready to acknowledge it. Very hurtful for the hard working students

Hi Sir, it is also to bring to your awareness that IIT Ropar has a n AI branch for master's but they are not accepting GATE DA paper for its admission. Please can you provide resolution for this too.

Please, I request the respective authorities and institutes to have DA as eligible GATE paper in CS related branches and make it specified very precisely in their information brochure. Otherwise, NIT's will follow the same thing that IIT's are doing.

The cutoff for Da is 37 and still after cracking the exam there is no opportunity then why they introduced this paper. paper fee was also 1800 what is the benefit of attempting this paper .And if no oppertunity are there then why tey introduced this paper.😴
Yes sir you are right. IIT ROPAR, INDORE, MANDI didn't give any seats as per there brochure. IIT Bombay is only giving in bioengineering and also IISC allowing cse ece ee in the AI branch even after introducing the seperate paper and only 35/4 = 9 seats only.
Very bad to see iit or even IIsc banglore is ofering courses for DS students. Then why Gate exam was conducted in DS.
We request IITs & IISC to either open major admission opportunities for DA
please allocation the seats to gate da , then only they is the Value to gate da exam paper .If not don't conduct exam
Getting 689 score in DA and 336 rank.
With the same score CS people are getting 1300 rank.
And surely that is not enough to get into any IIT?
So only top 100 will have any hope to get into an old IIT?
With so many aspirants and only 100 top seats, utter blunder by IISc.
IITB being the biggest villain, they have alloted 150 MTech Seats for CSE (taking only GATE in CS), some with even AI specialization, still they couldn't open a new AI branch for DA students to apply.

The thing is they have introduced a new paper, but they have not increased the seats (in some IITs there is not even a DA, DS branch yet). Really disappointed 😥
Don't know the significance of GATE DA if there is no seats alloted for it in the IITs. A student who got gate rank - 500 in Gate CS is really happy that he will get top IITs, but same is not the case for Gate DA, i.e., student with 500 rank in gate DA is worried whether he/she will be able to get even midd IIT or not.!!!!
IIT Kanpur - No new course for DA and no seats alloted for DA in any of the course
IIT Jodhpur - No seat is alloted for Gate DA even in their existing course Mtech Artificial Intelligence, Mtech Data and Computational Science
Similar is the case with IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi
If this would have been the case then gate organizing institutes should have told the students and we would have appeared for Gate CS through which we can get the seat in most of the courses of our interest.
In few IITs Gate MA, EC appeared students are allowed for Mtech in Computer Science but Gate DA students are not allowed why is that so?
@@deepakjangid5224 Kanpur has DA eligibility for 4-5 branches. Like CSE, Signal Comm, Space Science, Geoinformatics etc

I Request IITs, IISc, and respective admission bodies to consider Gate paper 'DA' into admission of DA/ML branches. pls take into account the time, money, effort people have invested. and doesnt get wasted

Just ask them how many in their panel are from IIT, IISC, NIT
I guess hardly anyone and they are the first one to suggest the admission queries in every IIT and NIT
they are doing good job but one has to be careful in their credibility
Dr Vijayendra is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and briefly taught in the IIT system.He started his career with DRDO as scientists. Kailash sir is an alumnus of IIT DELHI. Manish sir is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. Mukesh sir is an alumnus of IIT Dhanbad. Sudheer Nanduri is from IIT Madras. Rahul Sharma is from IIT Kanpur and PhD from the USA. Tyagi sir from DCE. Many more from prestigious colleges. Do proper homework dear
IIT guwahati has a " Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Design" eligibility for mtech in robotics and AI , I did a diploma + degree (3+3) I am confused about whether I am eligible or not ?
I did diploma in mechanical engineer and btech in robotics and Automation engineering and I am going to write the paper in DA
In many iits , they are allowing in mtech cse with different gate papers (EE, EC,MA) , but why not DA?

IISC is taking admissions with DA paper. I applied for Computational and Data Sciences with mechanical engineering as qualifying degree.

YA in 2nd 3rd round you definitely got a seat, mine is 650,
that is because some CS students are overlapped in DA and also other branch students so we have to be patient till June

Management program of IISC any gate discipline is eligible. So they need not to fight unnecessarily.
