    We have the 2014. Same color, same interior, same engine. etc. we love it. It's fast. It's planted. 50/50 weight ratio from front to back. 275 hp.
    Cadlillac went all out on this model. The engineering is top shelf. Drive one, and you'll see.

    Just drove one of these today. My neighbor is leasing one because he used to work for Cadillac. By far the most exciting car I'v driven. I love my Volvo S80, but just being able to cruise in this and have power when you want it with no hesitation is fantastic. I'll lease one in a heartbeat.

      Hello, I just picked one of these beauty's up, I have a quick question, on the parking assist light.
      When I turn on the car, the parking assist light turns on, does it have to be on or off?

    • @AStanton1966
      @AStanton1966 6 років тому

      Based on the parking assist for my Chevy Silverado, I would say that it's a default. When you start the Caddy, your parking assist engages. If you want to turn it off, then you have to turn it off every time you start the car. Maybe there is something in the vehicle info screen, where you can shut it off permanently, if you wanted to. Do a search on UA-cam; there may be some helpful videos.

    Had one as a rental for a while and I really enjoyed it. Was surprised that it was a Cadillac. The only things I cannot stand are the center stack being so glossy and not having knobs for volume and fan speed and the doors not being as good as the Germans or Lexus, but other than that, I was impressed and would really consider buying one.

    I personally think the 2.0T makes the naturally-aspirated 3.6 seem pointless. I am hoping they would replace that 3.6 with an updated version of the 2.8T V6 or a detuned version of the 3.6L TT V6. In Europe, the Opel Insignia (which is the Buick Regal here in the states) gets the 2.8T V6 and I can't see why this Caddy can't at least have that engine. The sound of that 2.8T V6 is amazing.

This car I bought in March and my heart sang when I test drive it. I also have had bmws, a jag, Mercedes, grandam stick, honda, Toyota, parents had eldoradorado and fleetwoods,. This car feels so at ease and natural and connected to me, great performance, agility, great visibility, back seat is small and trunk small but I feel like, this meets my personality and need for luxury and comfort big time.

      David Butts have you been able to sit in the back? I wish I had the original build sheet so I know what exactly I purchased. It dosent have the driver alert sensors in the seat like the first one I test drove. I’m guessing that other was a more expensive package. I’m having a little stickiness with the sunroof sticking, maybe need to put a little grease with a toothbrush? My ex had Nissan z, roadrunner, GTO, and we flip lots of cars I got to drive. I had a 1602 bmw, stateside it would be a 1974 2002, fun car, then a M3 bmw but it was a little boring. I drive a Honda Accord today2016, very nice but rough o. Bumps and wasn’t as thrilling. Paid 14,500 with 55k and paid 2500 for a vehicle warranty. Car seems babied by previous owner. I’m 57 and used to having town and countries and suvS don’t need all that being single. I wish I knew how to use the manual option. I can drive a stick but not sure how to engage this without wrecking the gears. Wish the dealers would spend more time training on use. I did 100 mph like nothing. My 25 yr old son tried to dog it but it showed him up just fine. He would like one now. The speakers aren’t that great. Think they are a bit aired and the stations go in and out so I use my phone bkuetoothed to my mega boom carry speaker which sounds great. The tires are Bridgestone and I’m not sure what the best tires would be. Michelin’s? I love the look of the 2015 CTSV coup. Felt like I bought and old fougy car appearance wise (caddies of the 80 thing) but it’s far from that in performance. I’m super happy. Hope it dosent go having issues often. That’s why we all steered away from GM. What color do you have? A 2014? Mine is like beige and black. Hate the cue but I don’t use Sirius or radio really nor pay for on star. Not having a spare is a little worrisome. I just hope it’s reliable or I will be remiss.

    Nice review. I like the transition to this professional format but all your reviews and critiques were always good. I think one of the main reasons why you felt the ride was so harsh in the E90 was because it may have had RFTs on it. Swap those out and the ride is fantastic and the handling actually gets better because the non RFT is more focused on handling and ride together vs running without air.

    • @Intechdude300
      @Intechdude300  10 років тому

      I see whatcha mean. Actually the E90 I thoroughly drove was an 06 with 90,000 miles on it so I doubt it had RFT's, could be mistaking. Though I still love E90's ;)

    • @IKhanNot
      @IKhanNot 10 років тому

      ***** I was looking at a 2007 328i and the one I test drove had 19 inch VMR rims but with Continental DWS tires and those rode smoother than another one I drove which had the stock 16 inch rims but crappy Bridgestone Turanza RFTs on it. I don't know who the hell thought that would be a good idea. All E90s since 2005 in Europe (06 in North America) came with RFTs from the dealer.

    What do you mean you switched from Toyota to Cadillac? As a reviewer won't you review all different brands? Also as an FYI I ordered a new 4runner trail premium from Motorcars after seeing your review and learning of the free power train warranty for life. I told the sales manager that so he was aware that your video was responsible for directing me to their dealership.

      Well I'm actually flattered that the video may of had some influence in you purchasing you 4runner at Motorcars. I have nothing against them & you made an excellent purchase. It's just that my inside guy who worked at motorcars now works at Crestmont meaning it'll be easier for me to film cars there instead with little to no fuss as I don't have the time to dealer hop for videos as some do. I'll be doing Cadillacs but since crestmont has a big preowned lot, videos of other brands will periodically pop up. If you want a toyota in the area, motorcars is the place to go & it's the same with crestmont if your looking into a cadillac.

      ***** Well my wife wants a Cadillac for her next car, so I will be sure to stay tuned. Hopefully you can do a review of a V sport wagon before it's discontinued. I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.

      Luxury cars depreciate faster than average cars because maintenance/ parts are a little bit more expensive and insurance is a little more expensive than your average car brand
