Reads like a half-baked, high school, nerd idea. Then the nerds got together after their first year of college and decided they could make money by pitching it to investors.
Here's another half-baked, high school, nerd idea: clone beautiful women, but only with enough brain parts for breathing, digestion, etc. not enough to be considered conscious. Generation 1: pleasure models. Generation 2 pleasure models with programmable AI brain implants to control body movements, vocal chords, etc. - still not human conscious beings, but seem very lifelike.
