I have a 5 ounce of this and two 3 ounce back ups and was thinking about getting one more back up. I agree with everything you said. Nothing has me feeling myself more than this stuff right here
It is everything they say it is and more, it's progressions are smooth and elegant.my only regret is buying Dozens of frags and completely bypassing this , until now😊
i just got my prada lhomme from online, but im quite worried becuase the cap is flimsy and when you shake it, it falls off. also when you turn it upside down it does fall. This is not like my other high end perfume. Can you let me know if you experience the same?
@@the-vault-ofheaven44You don't want every single fragrance to be a projection beast. Some fragrances are MUCH nicer when they're a little more subtle. It allows them to be discovered without feeling like you're trying too hard to be noticed.
What about longevity and sillage? I'm thinking of buying it for myself, but I'm only doubtful about that. I want others to notice this fragrance on me.
@@kanayxs Prada L’Homme is great for spring and summer. You can use it year round, but that’s when it shines. The thing with warm weather fragrances is that they’re typically designed to be “light”, if that makes sense. For example, if you put Spicebomb Extreme (which is solely a winter fragrance) in the summer… desd lord lol, rip to those around you. The heat would make it project more and it could even turn rancid; it would feel like you’re choking on this gross, thick, rancid air. That’s what warm weather fragrances are for, but the issue with this is longevity. It’s almost impossible to make a freshy that lasts more than 6-7 hours while also projecting like a beast (with a few rare exceptions). Prada L’Homme is extremely versatile and can be used in virtually any situation. If you want to be heard, overspray it (I’m talking 15-20 sprays). If you want a summer projection beast you can look into some blue fragrances, although don’t wear those in high heat either. Versace Eros EDP is a sweet-freshy hybrid and one of the most loved scent formulas of all time, for example.
Smelling it right now on a test strip. Very clean. I get your fabric softener reference. I’m thinking of a breath mint for your body. Something in it makes me think of how those blue Papermate ink pens used to smell. I don’t like it for me. I’m sure if I smelled it on someone I would think “wow they smell fresh and clean”
……but wait there’s more. I kept the scent strip in the car and for the next 3 days I smelled the dry down. Man oh man! It’s niiiiiiiiiiiice. Gonna get a sample & do a skin test this weekend and see how it is on my skin.
When I first sprayed it, I initially thought it was pretty bad and was confused as to why people were making it out to be a great fragrance. But after a few hours it really starts to develop and turns into a really nice scent, I definitely understand the hype. It's a good fragrance but the scent honestly reminds me a bit of uncooked rice, I'm guessing it's the Iris. Probably would have been better for perfumer to tone down that Iris just a bit.
Try some samples out of the Dior Homme line. If you don’t like those, I’d _strongly_ recommend Givenchy Gentlemen Reserve Privée. It’s like a hybrid of DHI and D&G The One EDP (2 of the best scents of all time). So it does have iris in it but it is very toned down, while exhibiting an absolutely jaw dropping scent with the complexity of the rest.
I wore this out today, I think it smells its best in the first 3 hours, I didn't care for the die down notes. I sprayed it 3 or 4 times just to test the strength. I got mixed reviews from people. Some said I smelled really good, some said I stink, some said it's too loud. But my town is weird because nobody comes up to and says what they think of it, they whisper compliments and not so good things. I never liked my town anyway lol but anyway, I thought it was a decent cologne, I still prefer my Creed Adventus...it's way too expensive but the smell gets nothing but compliments
Huh that’s very odd, to be honest. Prada L’Homme is typically known for exhibiting traits almost exactly opposite to what those people said to you (“loud”, and “stink”). The most common terms used to describe PLH is that is just smells so, purely, just… _cleeaaann_ haha. It’s not your typical fragrance where it has distinct properties that you can point out and describe in particular, but it just smells extremely “clean”. Another common term would be that it’s extremely inoffensive and “safe”, where it’s not one of those fragrances that can be too loud and obnoxious. This is in one part due to its very pure “clean”-smelling attribute, and in another part because it’s a warm weather/fresh scent and designed to not be cloying or have that “choking” effect when it’s too hot. Even if you overspray the hell out of this snd get into an elevator with 10 people, it’s as if Prada L’Homme just doesn’t have it in itself to even possibly be overwhelming. Very odd; they were probably just talking shit cause they jelly of how of phenomenal you smell haha. Imagine going for a brunch date on a nice spring day, and your date has on some nice grey lined dress pants, and a _CRISP, freshly ironed_ white dress shit on, few buttons undone, sleeves folded up to elbows. You go to give him a hug and smell Prada L’Homme. Mmmmm.. just so.. clean. Yum.
@DropBear_42 idk, I think everyone is different when it comes to scents. There's 4 different reactions people say when smelling a cologne or perfume on someone, it's shew, dang they stink, hmm, and dang they smell good....I got all 3 of them....shew, typically means you over sprayed or they don't care for it...dang they stink, means it's smells like ass...hmm, mean ls good decision and that they wouldn't mind being around you....dang they smell good means you are eye candy or a possible late night tip...and off this cologne, I've got all 4 of those reactions. It can also depend on other things such as the scent of soap you use, laundry detergent combinations you use to clean your clothes, how good or bad your home smells that lingers onto your clothes...a lot of factors play a role on how your cologne can make you smell....but those was the reactions I got off a one time use

I was honestly disappointed with this fragrance. I blind bought it because of all the hype and it seemed so hard to get a hold of, couldn't find it in stores anywhere, so I ordered a tester bottle off ebay. After having smelled the iris in Dior Homme this wasn't anything special to me. I much prefer Prada Amber Pour Homme when it comes to soapy Prada fragrances as I think that one is way more unique. Give that one a try if you haven't yet!
