I like the end result it looks great, never did get a chance to hear the engine run through 🤔, Couldn't hear it over the sound of the music, I watched the whole process, but the sound of the engine at the end is the grand finale 😢, next time add the sound of the engine 😂, Otherwise it came out nice, nice work 👍 !
This is the same engine that Suzuki put in the 50cc Gaucho. This bike looks to be the same basic frame and engine with a different tank and seat. The Gaucho was my first motorcycle at age 10. I mowed yards and delivered papers for two years to save up enough money to buy it new in 1971. I immediately put a kit on it which made it a 75cc. Carb, pipe and top end and bigger rear sprocket. Great memories!!
Fantastic Job, I used to have a Suzuki Ap50 & an A100 in Maui Blue, I was hoping you were going to change the colour to blue, but your workmanship is excellent & the end result like new. Thank You.
In Indonesia, it is called the Suzuki A100 with a 2 stroke engine. Usually used by postman or as a motorbike for official employees. My father had it when I was in junior high school. One of the memorable motorbikes in the past. Thanks bro...👍👍👍👍👍
Nice job on the restoration! Had an A100 from the mid 70s, back in the day, slightly different tank, side panels and air filter, but otherwise everything is pretty much the same, was my daily driver for quite a few years, served me well.
What a fantastic job you have done, I think the cylinder head should of been black, just to make it stand out a little more. Still who I'm I to complain. Brilliant.
Fantastic restoration, I really enjoyed it. As the restorer of bikes myself I can fully appreciate the many hard hours of labor you spent on it. However I’m surprised that you did not clean the inside of the cylinder and piston, and change the piston rings. To me that’s the heart of the bike. But great job!
I grew up with these bikes and would love to have one for my daily trips around town! But these bikes and also the Honda 100 to 125s are nearly impossible to find. Where I live anyway...
Me encanto una maravilla el travajo que le iciste a la moto. Quedo muy linda la suzuki. Yo tengo una pero la mia es 100. Saludos desde uruguay🇺🇾🇺🇾🙋♂️🛵🛵
Great video. I'm working on a 1970 A100 right now, and this is a really helpful video. Funny how little they changed over the years - apart from cosmetics this bike is identical to mine!
reallly nice bike and glad too see you aren't one of those indian guys that just slap some stuff on here. these is indeed a full restoratrion. but you could have put a new piston in there. but really nice bike:)
Great job, thanks. You restored it, made it road worthy (all images), but didn't let us have a conversation with the bike. When you run the engine at the end, we need to hear it too; don't be stingy next time, let us hear it as well. No alive and kicking creature wishes to be silenced. :)
Gran bel restauro poi bellissimo il Suzuki 80cc il motore assomiglia al motore del mio puch 75 Frigerio adoro le piccole cilindrate vintage bel video giam da sv
I had to put music because I recorded the video at the end with a gopro attached to my chest and the sound wasn't so good and also there was a lot of wind noise, I hope you understand. Thanks for watching my video
I don't think we had this model in the UK, it falls Midway between our AP50 and our A 100, it's fascinating to see how they marketed things differently in different countries
@@MichaelZ I saw an Ap50 on eBay, the photo was obviously taken in a scrapyard , presumably it csnd in as part of a scrap load, it was complete but incredibly rough almost beyond description, it sold for over 800 pounds, I was astounded.
Its not a suzuki A80 rather Suzuki A100. As the meter of this shows its A100. I had A80 in 1992. This suzuki model was so much popular here in northern Punjab. Anyhow nice job done..😊
It's an A80, you can't just say it's not an A80 buy looking at the meter. There was different versions of the bike and some of them shared the same parts with an A100, but in my country the meter of the A100 is square and not circle.
Great job. I really love them small bikes. I really enjoyed your level of commitment to the detail work. I just kinda wish you went in and split the case to give the insides the once over. But still, hats off to you.
You're methodical, perfectionist and determined. The details were awesome. The work is commendable and appreciated. Hard work pays!
Thank you, really appreciate it.
One of the best bike restoration I have ever seen 👍👍
This is possibly the best restoration of an old motocycle I have seen. Well done. I loved the color you chose.
The same here, very good finished work.

Best Restoration I have seen so far of a Motor Cycle.

I'm from Indonesia, glad to see your restoration of A 100. I also have one A 100 from my parents in 1980, A 100 Type v 8. Greetings from Indonesia bro
Loved watching this one, it reminded me so much of my AP 50 back in the day as mine was a metallic red.
What a fantastic restoration you've done. I enjoyed watching.
You have made an excellent job of restoring that bike. Thank you for rescuing it from the scrap heap.
Your trials bike looked nice, too!
Thanks Paul, really appreciated.
This was in my freind's home. We used to ride this bike in 1992.
Good job

Nice Suzuki A100 the best 👍
Brilliant transformation. I would have done the head and barrel black.
Great work .. but at the end I want to hear the engine sound .. not the music .
Me too

Great job I used to have same one 1975 , memories 😄😄
I don't think we had this model in the UK, it falls Midway between our AP50 and our A 100, it's fascinating to see how they marketed things differently in different countries
Yes it's very similar to the AP50, in fact I used some AP50 parts on this one (same part number) from the Suzuki UK vintage parts site.
@@MichaelZ I saw an Ap50 on eBay, the photo was obviously taken in a scrapyard , presumably it csnd in as part of a scrap load, it was complete but incredibly rough almost beyond description, it sold for over 800 pounds, I was astounded.
@@rogerfrancis65 Wow that's a lot for an AP50 in that condition. But I think it's because these little gems are getting rarer to find.
Saludos desde Colombia,buen video
