Don’t get me wrong, Colin Farrell is doing great work as Oswald. His line delivery is great and he really disappears into the role. But, man, Cristin Milioti is stealing every scene she’s in. She’s somehow playing someone who is off her rocker and yet 3-4 moves ahead at the same time. I can’t imagine how to play that any better.
I really enjoyed Crystal Reed’s take on the character in Gotham, but I already love Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone far more. She is genuinely terrifying and she’s only been in one episode.
Cristin Milioti was SO GOOD! The first thing I always think of with her is Tracy McConnell from HIMYM. But between Fargo and now this, she is showing incredible range and its amazing to watch.
Colin Farrell has improved his acting, I can really still expect him to wear his iconic hat and umbrella with his comic book colors. Taking over crime in Gotham.💜💜
No because the second I saw the kids jacking cars I shouted “JASON????” I really wanted it. (I also feel like Jason would be the best Robin for this franchise.)
So the QR code brings you to the Riddler chat website they used for promotional material leading up to the release of The Batman. Seems they’re bringing that back.
This first episode reminded me very strongly of the Gotham TV series--Penguin pitting the Falcones and the Maronis against each other is practically his MO at this point and it's awesome. I really hope they take this universe's Gotham to the same level of fantastical as that one, too. Seeing Hugo Strange on the big screen in The Batman 2 would be incredible. Sadly, I don't think that they're ever going to make Batman fantastical on the big screen. They love to make him "*g r o u n d e d*" for some reason. They love that word for him, but it's so unlike Batman and it's getting annoying, honestly. They have to finally drop the whole grounded crap and let him be a superhero for once, a force of nature that takes on superhumans even though he's secretly just a man. The movies really like to make sure we know he's just a human, and give him normal human villains to fight. The older Batman movies all got the idea of the character, putting him in a crazy world, but they executed it badly. After that, the only villains he's ever gotten in live action have been: a ninja who doesn't seem to die, an anarchist with makeup, and a really strong bald guy. Where's Mr. Freeze? Where's Hugo Strange's monsters? Where's Poison Ivy? Where's Clayface? Where's the REAL Joker? Completely nonexistent. You even said it in this video; you could take all the comic characters' names out of the show and it would just be a good show about criminals. Don't get me wrong, it's still an incredible show and it'll get better, I'm sure, but all that this means is that it has no real identity in the DC world and it's such a shame. They've got to stop grounding Batman, seriously.
Yeah brother I saw it early this morning but my favorite thing about this was the destructive scenes that the that the damn did to the city I hope I said that right good show by the way😊
I love the movie Batman but is there another one?❤ I thought it was only one part. I think I am going to like this episode. The series Gotham was really good.
Now this is quality, those Agatha episodes. I don't know, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great, it had cringe dialogue, bad acting at times, and pointless scenes, but this? The acting, dialogue, score, visuals, storytelling, atmosphere, and even the cinematography, of which I was scared as Greig wasn't doing it, but it was everything amazing. Incredible pilot, I loved it. I see this show getting nominated for Best Lead Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Directing, Best Makeup, etc. I don't know how you misinterpreted the look when it was so simple as that he found it funny that Oz listened to that music, as it wasn't the radio station, it was his disc, so he wasn't expecting that from a guy like Oz.
At least correct the ending of the movie, fuck the status quo, this is Gotham, everyone is corrupt, from the police to the politicians, I really liked the two hours and half of the movie, but the ending, the movie shit himself.
How do you not know why he made that face. He was hiding his face and trying not to smile because the 9to 5 song came on and he didn’t want to insult a gangster…😅
The smile that Vic gave was because he thought it was funny Oz listened to that kind of music
It was literally the same reason he smiled 😂
Cuz who doesn’t love Dolly!!?!
Come on now!
Colin Farrell also said that he'd gladly do a season two despite hating the makeup. He just wanted a break.
Just give Cristin Milioti her Emmy now. Good GOD. What an incredible opening episode
"I've been rehabilitated."
I believe her...
You better...
I can fix her
Ok but the way the penguin didn't sit on the prioritized seat is kinda makes me smile lmao
Cristin Milioti better win an Emmy next year.
I know right? She was such a force in this

Isn't crystal reed from teen wolf?
Yup,she plays Allison Argent. @@prathapkutty7407
@@prathapkutty7407Yes
@@selenarodgers5667 is she a good actress? I haven't really seen her in anything.
@@prathapkutty7407 She’s great, especially in Gotham. Teen wolf is where I first saw her acting, she’s great in that as well.
You know, I'm glad they let us know Penguin is not a good person seriously.
Got chills in the beginning wen they announced Batman in the news 🙌
In the comics, Alberto Falcone kinda played a part in Long halloween story (it's a long story)

I was on a call with my friend and we watched last night, we were geeking out the whole time lol. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
If this doesn’t win all the awards I’m rioting in the streets.
Right, they better ☝️
No because the second I saw the kids jacking cars I shouted “JASON????” I really wanted it. (I also feel like Jason would be the best Robin for this franchise.)
I wonder how much time it took to do the penguins makeup. So insane
Love how Penguin can lie or manipulate with such ease 😊
this is a Great Crime Drama from DC Studios
collin is confirmed on the batman part 2,he will put the makeup again

The show is so good. This is what prestige television on HBO is supposed to be.

Did anyone notice the woman that Oz asked to be his alibi her name is Eve my theory is that this is Poison Ivy.
Thank you, Omni! 🐧

Are you going to repeat this in every reaction video of this show? 🤣
@@b.u.l.1734 It's not a repetition if I always add something new, and you care too much about what I comment, lol.
