- Today on Prime Time, we take a walk through a wholesale grocery market - Pul Mithai in Delhi to find large crowds of homemakers obtaining food grains for their daily consumption. People come from far-off places including from outside Delhi to buy groceries not for resale but for personal consumption. Is the long travel worth the bargain? We find out. (Audio in Hindi)

Ravish ji I came to India to settle and teach my kids Indian Culture but daal, chawal Aur Traffic dekhkar My hubby asked us to return back. I miss Indian Culture but day to day life including education is becoming harder and harder. still u can take a Person out of India but not India out of a Person.
I love my Indian culture. I think the ethos of India culture is the most inclusive and solution for all the problems of the world that exists today. If u study Indian culture deeply then ultimately u relate to the every particle of this world and at the same time detach to the materialistic things and only move towards almighty. @S S because they pay good amount of taxes, everything in foreign land is expensive. We Indians can't even pay 30rupees per kg for tomatoes and cry like babies whereas if u see in other countries the rates of vegetables and fruits are high in comparison to India. For them keeping a servant is also very expensive whereas in India we pay thousands to maids and servants. My friends lives in Boston, America, living there from the past 30 years, she couldn't even afford a pressure cooker, when she came back to meet her mum then she bought a pressure cooker from India, which she took with her to America. You can imagine how people live there as she has been working along with her husband and she couldn't even afford a simple cooker. She has no savings. She has done ph.d in zoology and working as a scientist over there. Not only standard of living is high there but for that they have to pay heavily to the government too. If she never rejected the her job as assistant professor in the year 1990 then she could have been earning min 2laks per month or may be even more right now here in India. She could have saved so much money but she had a craze to settle in abroad when she was young but now she regrets it because even after working there for almost 30 years she could save a penny till now.
@S S u should study taxes in order to get ur facts right. They have to pay damn high taxes. It is applicable in canada too. It's not that she couldn't afford a cooker but she knows that very well that paying hefty amount for a thing like cooker is not worth it. While if she would have been living in India she would have not given a second thought of buying it. She rejected government job for lifestyle. Nd now not only her but many like her regret. Why do foreign countries have Ferrari, Mercedes and other luxury cars that we indian calls as a normal vehicle??? Why don't Indians have them as common vechicles??? Lifestyle and livings are two different things. Indians cry when there is a rise of 1 rupee on any given item. They say gareeb aaadmiko loot liya. AAamadmi jo bhbharpetkana nai ka pata usko loot liya. U can see how in this video they are crying. Sometimes they protest bcoz they don't like shelling out money. In india we have reservation. General people have to pay salaries to those reserved idiots while they do not work as they should. People over here can only be disciplined with high fines. We indians are so nawab that we need a maid to clean our dishes, to clean our house. How many of our friends living in foreign can afford one?? My dear, if u want a lifestyle like a king then pay like one. While u dream of a lifestyle that of America but still wants to pay the taxes and money for things in rupees, then that is not a good proposition go begin with. Plus our country has so much burder. People coming from bangladesh, the poor people of our country, the reserved quota people, sc, st, obc types of "free" eating people, corruption here and there in our system and other nonsense things is stopping us from getting those lifestyle and the development that people get in foreign countries.

Frankly speaking we are facing lot of problems in running our house hold expenses...Middle Class people like us are facing lot of problems..Banks are not giving loans to small interprises..Lot of formalities no ease through bank..On top of it No Demand...Customers footfall is very very less..This is real position...
Middle class people are those people who take loans from bank for cars, scooty, personal loans, mobile phones, mostly are endulged in showing off their money even if they cannot afford these things. Apni chadar se jyada per ppasarneki adat ban chukki hai middle class logo ki. They waste their money on petrol and diesel even if unko ghar challane me prblm hai. They do not know the art to save money or apna ilzaam government pe thop dete hai. Such a shame
