My names Josie and I am converting a Mercedes Vario into my first home with no previous DIY experience.
And this video is all about giving the outside of my bus a MAJOR MAKEOVER ☺️🙌

Working on, painting and just redoing old vehicles I'd extremely hard work .
As for the paint.... don't I still remember sitting in the spray booth almost in tears( yes tears) that the paint color was incorrect.....after I'd painted the car!!!

And I thought you said green was your favorite color? When did the roof racks magically appear from? And you mentioned her helping you stain the ceiling. Do you have the ceiling done? I'm so lost and I've watched every video. Did I fall asleep at some point? Love your animation.

Bless you, so much work, mostly by yourself. I too am building a van and help is always much needed, if only for a second opinion at times. Also, I thought my location was not ideal(in a street) but at least I have a garage full of tools about 10 steps sway. Good luck to you, I will follow with interest.

You can leave masking tape on overnight if you pick the right tape. The cheap variant should not be left overnight but there is slightly more expensive with ratings of 1-, 3-, 7-, 14-, 30-, and 60- days. You should check if it is for indoor or outdoor usage. The white tape tends to be the cheapest short time-variant, the one rated for a longer time tends to have come color.
The more expensive tape tend to be thicker and a bit harder to treat, so removal is often a lot simpler
👍 for effort and result.
I suspect the colour will camouflage road grime, which means you won’t have to wash the bus as often.

Close the large windows and weld pieces of iron instead of the windows to be safer
Rust-oleum makes a whole paint line for vehicles. 🥰 yes you can get it atleast sent to where you're at.

I really liked your video and it gave me a few ideas to paint mine, which I've been procrastinating about for months. Better just do it eh! What was the finish like painting with a brush?
I did most of the painting with a roller - and the tricky bits with a brush.. and to be honest I can't tell in the finished paint job which is which ☺️
