Been a bloody honor to be able to provide covers and rearrangements for his reviews. This is also one of the most beautiful pieces from Shunsuke Kikuchi, who's music I (a Faulconer Productions fan) have really grown to truly love; being moved by his compositions as I recreate them.

Im hearing this again, since I just heard about Akira Toriyamas unfortunate passing. It honestly just hit me like a bus man, and I just needed to think a bit. Its a shame I never got to meet or thank the man who inspired and changed millions to billions of peoples lives but I hope that in his final moments he was smilling, knowing that he is one of the most influential figures in all of anime history. May he rest in peace with all the wonderful memories he has made shining around with like the shining dragon balls themselves.

I keep returning to this specific remake of yours for the M1420. There's something very hopeful about this OST and you nailed it, as per usual. It's especially helpful during these troubled times when the world is trying to destroy itself over pieces of land... Land, that can be shared... Man, I know you were obviously pumped to work on these pieces. It sounds great, and I can tell that it took a lot out of you to get the work done along with your standard uploads, so seriously, good work, especially since it still baffles me how your workload basically doubled, and the quality hasn't dropped. I sure hope you did get back to getting some rest after, though, and I really appreciate the work you put into these pieces. I never really heard the Japanese composer's collective scoring of DBZ, but man, there is so much soul in their pieces, and I have a lot of respect that you can absolutely still use your mystifying talents of reaching into the long since forgotten thoughts of these composers, and draw on their hopes for their own pieces in your remixes and remakes.
As far as you making it into TotallyNotMark's reviews, I'm still quite happy where he placed them to be honest, and hoping I don't sound like I'm talking down on you or being disrespectful in any way, as well as a stranger across the world, typing a very not concise comment on your work can be, I am proud of you, man, and you should be proud of yourself, too. You haven't taken off yet, like some of your peers in this space, but, not to make this a competition, or to deride anyone's work, but how many of them make it into those big ass reviews? And not trip up on quality at all? Like, seriously, Gladius, pat yourself on the back man, this is still amazing. And the fact is, too, that while I think you've definitely have been getting better, your older stuff that I started with is still really damned good, and I am never left wondering how I found you, nor how I like any of your older stuff while your newer pieces show improvement, not at all like I've seen other musical creators on this platform. Thank you, honestly, for your work. This, by the way, is why I keep being so annoying with you getting a Patreon or something to download this. Sure, I could probably find a way, or just pay UA-cam or something, but this work needs to be compensated for, and I will ABSOLUTELY support you, man, because you have always been damned good at this.
I appreciate your acknowledge of the consistency of the quality of my work. I may relax from time to time on the visual art, but when it comes to the music there is no compromise for me. Always 100%, and even further beyond 😁 music is my greatest love. I got a bit of rest, but I am starting to work on a short film so I will have to take some time away from making content for the channel unfortunately (I’ll try sneak in something here and there haha). Yeah, when it comes to the Japanese score, it is the original, intended music for the series so it does hit in a way that pierces deep when you listen to it with that in mind. When I listen to Sumitomo’s score for DB Super it feels like an updated version, almost fused between Kikuchi & Faulconer Productions.
Yeah I loved where they placed them! I feel so lucky and fortunate that my covers were all part of such crucial moments in the reviews, with all the different languages, showcasing the universal impact Dragon Ball has had. No disrespect taken my friend! Haha you’re too kind!! The biggest ones who’s covers made it into his videos that come to mind for me are Pokemixr92, Friedrich Habetler, Android Orchestra, and their channels have all been operating for a lot longer than mine (the years I wasn’t uploading don’t count, as I feel like I only really started a year ago). So I feel if I just keep pushing forward I’ll be able to do pretty well, but honestly I also feel like I’ve already been doing better than I ever thought!! I’m very happy with the progress so far ☺️

I know some people consider it, but honestly, I like the variety of the musical takes for every scene that the various soundtracks do. They really try to make what they think that part should sound like in their mind, and that's amazing in my eyes. Really allows for us to pick and choose what pieces we prefer where, almost like we make our own soundtracks, imo. But, I will say that, regardless, I can always appreciate their work. It all elevates the visuals, that's for sure. And I like your thoughts on Sumitomo's work for Super, that it's an iteration of both scores in many regards.
I am really happy where the music was put everywhere for everyone's pieces. It all feels like the pieces line up beautifully, and each person gets their time to shine. I'm really actually amazed how much respect Mark and his team has for your guys' works, it really feels like they themselves are fans, in a way, or maybe more aptly that they can appreciate your additions to the Dragon Ball Fan Sphere, and really let you guys add to their own videos in a way that shows respect to their writing and your work.
For your Patreon stuff, I wouldn't worry. I'm excited, sure, but you told me why you didn't want to start one, and I can't say I don't respect it. It's up to you, after all, if and how you want to monetize your work, and if you don't feel ready, you just don't feel ready, man. There's no foul here, lol, and I already said for you to let me know when ASAP in the description of the most relevant and recent piece you do in proximity to your Patreon drop, so as long as you do that when you're comfortable and ready, I will wait until then.
