You’re an odd one I take a break from every game and I come back better for the most part you just get rusty but get in that customs trust it will wear off 😂
@@gaazii. so you take a break in between every single game?.. I also never said that you lose your skill.. so idk where you got that from.. also ur right you don’t just lose skill.. but everyone on earth needs a few seconds or minutes to regain muscle memory 😂 even you,, the main comment is right you don’t just come back after a long period and play on the same skill level.. in between games is fine obviously because it’s not a full 5-7 days of not playing 💀 also I’d be surprised if you could even ride a bike
You make better combo tutorial videos than anyone else even Boomie, Sandstorm, Cosolix, and Sting Ray. Your videos just get right to the point. It’s crazy how you know all the niche combos, the aerial combos, and the 3-piece combos.
Great video :) You've earned my subscription. As someone who has been putting way too much time in the training room finding out every little detail about the GS (Greatsword), i have some insight that might be useful. I've found 19 true combos on GS (excluding Arcadia's down signature combos and the weapon throw combos), but you've pretty much nailed the useful ones. The only one i feel is missing is neutral opener -> down bridge. It's a bit tricky to hit true on a grounded opponent, but is relatively easy when catching landings. You have to hit it with the second frame of the neutral opener (or later), and you do that by either dashing (needs to be pretty precise) or having your opponent fall/walk into the attack. This combo is also a must-know for making team combos with GS. Here are 4 honorable mentions: - side bridge -> side finisher is true as long as you hit the side bridge far away. This combo feels glitched, btw, because it's super quick. - side opener -> side finisher can also be true, but you have to hit the side starter late (dash or opponent falls/walks into it). - grounded down air -> down finisher is true if you hit the down air late. - side opener -> neutral bridge is true if you hit side opener late (dash or opponent falls/walks into it). Also, side opener -> neutral bridge -> side finisher has only 1 dodge frame between the neutral bridge and the side finisher, making it a pretty good kill confirm when you catch a dodge. Also, fun fact about GS: You can't DI out of the same bridge with different openers. The same is true for the same finisher from different bridges. GS actually has 18 different grounded light attacks.
- side opener -> down bridge is only true if hit close to the enemy. - side opener -> neutral bridge is only true if hit far from the enemy. - neutral opener -> side bridge is also true if the enemy y axis is close to yours. - neutral opener -> down bridge work in the same way but deals less damage.
There a few combos that weren't in the video extremely hard to pull off but you can hit on sword only on platforms which is dlight dair into dlight sair/rec/dair nlight and nair basically a 4 piece
As a hammer main i found new true combo its not that useful but still true combo (short jumb gc dlight side light) at new health . btw about the Nlight dash side light is true onle in new health with 5dex or more 4:43 Love ur video keep up bro
Scythe can combo down air into itself/ground pound if you make the opponent bounce of a wall. It's super good (be sure to speeddodge down to hit it consistently)
Hey there. As a representative of nair confirms and a Lance connoisseur you actually missed a few combos. Off of one of if not the last hitboxes of Lance nair you can then jump turn around and sair or recovery and it’s a true combo. There may be even more you can do off of it like a gc light attack or signature. It’s super niche but pretty cool!
for a new player watching this, I have no idea how to do half of these as the input portion of the combo doesn't really cover how to get into position for the follow up. It is hard for me to tell if some moves are jumped into or chased dodged into like blaster down light into side air
on spear you missed side light down light recovery its good to get the opponent in the air and if you're lucky you can use an extra recovery and ko them
good video but i feel like you could specify in which damage some of these will hit true and which damages it stops being true (which you kinda did for blasters)
on high dex gs, miss dlight/nlight bridge/ jump chase dodge groundpound/ chasedodge nair is true. Also if don t hit the opener, every slight and dlight bridge true combos into every finisher and on arcadia, sair / slight is true so you can hit, salir slight dlight dlight
Greatsword Slight Dlight dlight might be jumpable, at least it should be iirc because the height they gain from the 1 frame out of stun after slight is enough to take them out of the next dlight hitbox
I found this weird combo on katars and i dont really understand how it works, its basically just slight jump dash nair, i think its that, or slight dash diagonal up jump nair, i think its the first one tho, thats basically a buffer jump right?
I do not understand what inputs I need to make after the Gauntlet GC Dlight to achieve the combos... I can hit recovery with dodge window 15 but nair and sair I can't understand how to hit for the life of me... can you maybe reupload the same video just with key inputs so it`s easier to understand for less experienced players?
can someone explain 1:30, what does he mean by active input? down light (active input) + neutral light? does he mean go to ur enemy to hit neutral light after hitting down light? that's common sense not rly active input lol please help
no if you hold down light you will do the active input version. if you dont hold down light you kick the enemy up. so hes saying hold down light into neutral light
bro the 3 piece true combo on Greatsword only works in training tool its a bug. The only light attacks true combos on GS are dair -> nair, side light -> dlight (true if hit close or far, 1 dodge frame if hit at intermediate distance) and sair combos of a wall depending on health but thats irrelevant
Awesome video! I think ive been able to hit d-air gc d-light on gsword true, but it was kinda hard to pull off. Dont know if they have patched it or not.
you got 98% of the games useful combos and showed them off fast, this is good but i would say the guide is still a little too comprehensive, you are showing combos such as unarmed dlight gc dsig, axe slight dlight, so on. these combos are just not useful, in my 4300 hours of brawl i havnt used unarmed dlight gc dsig once, dlight gc nsig is the way to go. i appreciate the effort that went into this video, informing new players is great
Yes But you gotta take account for di DI basically means that if you aim to a direction you will be sent slightly into that direction so some true combos (morph or 2v2s) can be DIable to avoid getting hit by them
Summary for unarmed:
down light + literally anything you want
Also Battle Boots.
I quit brawl for years and came back recently, was glad to have caught up on gsword and boots thanks to you. This was an amazing video.
That’s sad to hear the same thing happened to me but I only quit for 2 years and came back in 2021
Same lmao

Won't forgive devs for adding boots

I just started playing so thank you for this!!
For unarmed, at really low percents down tilt to neutral signature (no gc) works for damage, you could do chase dodge stuff ig
Sword carried me to plat almost thanks for the tips, Koji is the most effective sword legend high dex excellent end sig etc.
Every gold and plats wet dream. A good clean concise combo catalog.
Scythe can combo down air into itself/ground pound if you make the opponent bounce of a wall. It's super good (be sure to speeddodge down to hit it consistently)
It is pretty inconsistent unless you pretty much have the reflexes and precission of a surgeon.
@@Sinistar-mi2vcit's super consistent

Nice video man btw i think that with the gaunts u can do the dlight sair true combo with no Gravity cancels if the enemy Is low on healt like Red.
I was confused until I saw it eas 7 months ago, We've gottent a lot of nerfs

wow didnt know that
dAir sAir is true as well lol, it needs set up doe
Bro thanks so much ima practice all these once brawlhalla finishes downloading rn
Great video! one thing to say is that you missed down light dash jump down air on blasters
Nice vid! I would probably add dair gp off the wall for scythe. Kinda niche but very potent
or dlight dlight at off stsge at red health.
Really useful and well made video !

Really this video is so useful thank you ❤️😀
slight nair dlight is true on higher dex axe legends, easiest on soft platform maps like enigma and crystal temple
good video but i feel like you could specify in which damage some of these will hit true and which damages it stops being true (which you kinda did for blasters)
mandou bem demais amigo, me ensinou bastante coisa sobre o jogo. obrigado de verdade.

Agradeço as amáveis palavras, obrigado
love from brazil bro, great video@@Finnrall
on high dex gs, miss dlight/nlight bridge/ jump chase dodge groundpound/ chasedodge nair is true.
Also if don t hit the opener, every slight and dlight bridge true combos into every finisher
and on arcadia, sair / slight is true so you can hit, salir slight dlight dlight
For blasters you forgot gc down light chase dodge reversed nair
- there's a couple interesting wall combos with scythe that sould've been mentioned

Such an amazing Video
i need a definition of the words youre using, "true"? and what do the names mean which buttons are they on switch?
good video, i subbed
On blasters u can hit GC dlight CD reverse nair true, its boomies signature
Underrated channel😊
you forgot dair nair on blasters, really useful early health
Greatsword Slight Dlight dlight might be jumpable, at least it should be iirc because the height they gain from the 1 frame out of stun after slight is enough to take them out of the next dlight hitbox
On gauntlets dl sair is true at higher damage like 90-130
thank you bro
Bow also has slight, dlight , nlight
for katars I can seem to hit slight dlight. it just seems like the character isn't close enough somehow
with 6 dexterity legends like ember you can hit groundpund and recovery twice
You can do dair dlight true in orange with scythe
crazy how every boot combo is true
You forgot that unarmed Down Light → GC+Neutral Light is true too
Cannon at 20 dmg(I think) down light → side air→ Down air is true
No nonsense video.. 👍
On scythe you can do sait dlight true if you touch with the tip of the sair hitbox
You mean sair?
The Video is very good, but there is one combo that I like a lot on sword that u didn't put😂

On blasters on medium percent dl dash jump nair is also true learned that one from rath
What is down light bridge and down light finisher? Got no idea what any of that means
good video to learn combos but i miss many of them, anyway, reeally good work tho
great video but there are a lot of astresiks to be put. many of these combos depend on damage and some need a CD to work
