I think I get it now. The Satsui No Hado tends to cause the users to go suicidal, wanting to find the one that could kill him. So Pandora figured that a more powerful version of himself should do it. Ofcorse another trait of the Satsui No Hado is to constantly want more power, and I think Akuma can take the souls he beats and become stronger. Perhaps Pandora is also trying to feed him.
Tekken X Street Fighters is still being developed. It will be much better in Tekken format. For Tekken players that is. The Tekken engine works better for Tekken characters. It will be interesting to player Ryu and Akuma on that engine.
Every time I see that cutscene between Akuma and Ogre, this is how I would imagine I would see Akuma Vs Sephrioth but with the sky becoming dark. I’ve said this for years but we need a Street Fighter x Final Fantasy game. We saw a glimpse of it in Super Smash Bros and Tekken 7, but an actually crossover fighting game with both series would be a dream come true
@XxGunPriestxX In a sense yes Akuma only wants to find a strong opponent through very violent means however he doesn't go on a killing spree to find that opponent and limits his own power so that a match won't end quickly. Oni is a flat out murderous monster that wants to go around killing everything it can find

YungHostile is mostly right but the final boss is determined who you picked as the first choice to play as, If you picked a Street Fighter character then you get to fight Ogre but if you pick a Tekken character then it is Akuma

It's Capcom. If they can't even make an original body for Ogre and just uses the Seth model, do you think they would really make a whole model for his true form with the wings and everything? Plus, that would mean Capcom would have to make Oni and I doubt they would want to add any more characters unless they charged for them as DLC

@studentdebts Nah, Tekken characters may be lacking in variety with their special moves, but they have meatier combos and a better mixup game. Ogre is an exception though, since his lack of variety in his normals but awesome specials make him seem more like an SF player. My advice, play as Julia for a few rounds. She'll probably change your opinion.

Yes, and Paul defeated Ogre in Tekken 3. Ogre also came back in Tekken Tag Tournament, but that story's non-canon.
