Hi, Piper Kingham was lucky to have served under one of the best company and battalion commanders of my generation. Mad Mitch had a such a great reputation amongst the soldiers who knew of him that is hard to replicate these days. It was a pity that such a brilliant officer was pushed out of the army and never reached the higher ranks that he deserved.
