    Love it in 2 days I am getting my first pajero 4 diesel ❤ cant wait to do some upgrades ordered the dashcam you recommend. Can you also make some videos of how to prevent your pajero from being stolen like some really good alarm that cut off power and fuel for countries where might get car jacked.

    Thanks for the detailed video mate. I've pulled my turbo intake hoses and noticed bit of oil in the turbo intake area. I have no catch can installed. Is that normal? Yours seems fairly dry. Do you have a catch can on this? Ta.

    Nice vid mate. Why did you end up going with replacing the low mount intercooler rather than a front mount like your SWB?

    • @budget4x4life
      @budget4x4life  4 місяці тому +1

      @green4094 4 місяці тому +1

      @@budget4x4life yea ok fair enough. It looks like a few people have got the front mount intercooler to work with a winch as long as you set it right from the start. Some bull bars might be an issue though.
      How do the intercooler temps compare between the new low mount and the SWB front mount?

    • @budget4x4life
      @budget4x4life  4 місяці тому

      @@green4094 very similar to be honest on road. Haven’t seen more then 35 degree intake temps. Haven’t given it an offroad test yet though but shouldn’t go more than 50 I reckon

    Interesting video. But I would be concerned about dropping the engine temperature to 77 degrees. The engineers designed the internals to operate at maximum efficiency at 82-88 degrees. So, while cooler may appear to be better, in the case of engine thermal management cooler isn't necessarily better for the engine.

    • @budget4x4life
      @budget4x4life  4 місяці тому

      @@evanmurphy2165 77 is when the thermostat open to let coolant run through the system. That doesn’t mean it will run at 77. The car will still run between 80-90 depending on the terrain.

    Brother, I have a 2011 NT/NW (Not sure) sold in LatAm, it came with a 2.8L 4m40. I had to replace the radiator but I think I messed it up by installing one that is 16mm thick. The temperatures start climbing on steep inclines and we have ruled out everything else but the rad. Do you know what was the original thickness of the rad for your Paj? Thanks.

      @@budget4x4life Right? Some people have told me that the head must be cracked but it consumes literally no coolant, feels very responsive power-wise, no bubbles when running it with the cap off, no white smoke, starts quick, etc... Thanks for your response! I'll look into getting a bigger one.
