We live in South Dakota - fireplace Upstairs And Downstairs!! When I redid our home in 2021 I had the upstairs painted all White and the lower with a high hearth painted all Black! They are SO FUN and we NEED them around here. Just makes it So Much More Cozier all winter long with snow flying out the windows and laying in front of the fire whether watching tv or playing games, crocheting, etc. And a cup of something warm :)

My daughter just has a tv entertainment center with a fireplace underneath - the tv is on the wall so essentially the top is her mantle! She keeps it Simple but SO Fun for the Holidays and lots of wood pieces like you use :)
huge families...im oldest of 6, husband 10th of 12...it is pumpkin pie...it was really affordable...AND both our mamas agreed that since pumpkin was a fruit...pumpkin pie was acceptable for breakfast... Really excited for Fall this year..everything we own has been in storage since hurricane Ian...and house is a week from ready to move back in...so..
I have calendars from previous years that I haven’t used because….I can’t find them. I spend more time trying to find my craft stuff than I do actually crafting. But I love watching you make so many cute things.

Hello Kristen I remember them from last year and I still love them. With the rub one’s the dollar tree around me said they will not bring them back because nobody buys them so I don’t know going on what they told me. I LOVE that box you made with the pumpkins in it. You've gotten my hooked on rub on transfers. I just wish my DTs would get the farmhouse ones.h You've given me some g inspiration with the wood pumpkins. I've never done anything with them before. I definitely want to do the one with the truck fabric and the peel and stick. That last pumpkin! ❤The closet Family Dollar to me has a bad rap, I refuse to go there.
Fall just dropped in a dollar tree near me literally today. I wasn’t even going to stop there but decided to check and yep. She was still stocking stuff.

That’s definitely a good way. The girls and I have been making a lot of bracelets this summer with the clay beads. It’s been hot so we have been staying in those days. And lots of bike rides.

I found the 2024 calendars a few weeks ago at my DT, they were out of the farmhouse one though. I am slowly getting excited for Fall....mainly because I'm tired of watering my flowers, lol.

I love the simplisticness of these DIY'S. It was inspiring to me. I sometimes feel that the things I do aren't very good. I am trying to remind myself "that less is more"
Dollar General has corbels, you could get a set and get a board to put across them to make a faux mantel.

I LOVE fall crafting & am SO ready for it (it takes me a hot minute to decide on things, get whatever i need, get them done, finally decorate with them). Ive slowly begun getting out my fall supplies. I made a couple of these last year & loved them. Cant wait to do a couple more while waiting on the new stuff. Really enjoyed the little bit longer video. You edit so well. Explaining nicely, showing everything, but not dragging the compilation videos to 3 & 4 hours as numerous others have done this year. I dont mind even up to an hour but 3 & 4 is juat too much for me to even think about clicking on...lol. NIIIICE video girl 💖. Thank you again Kristin for all you share.
Thank you so much. I try to keep them shorter. If I rewatch what I edit and get bored of myself I make cuts if I get bored of myself I’m sure others will too! I agree 3-4hrs is very long. No one has that much time in their day for UA-cam ❤️
I found the calendars this year. I got them in like June or July. They are gone now. I have not used ANY of last year’s yet lol
My mantel is only 3 inches wide. I use a lot of small things from dollar tree. I would love to have a wide mantel.

The fabric pieces you found were so pretty and perfect the way you used them!😘
It is like decoupaging with paper but I actually like using fabric more. The fabric doesn't tear like paper and can be easier to place on the wooden piece. As much as I love using napkins, they're so delicate!😮
I also love the rub on transfers and the way you put a whole sheet on the wood items!
I also like to put mod podge on top of the rub on transfers. It helps keep them on and seals them, especially if outdoors.
I went to my Dollar Tree yesterday, looking for fall items. They had part of the short aisle in the front filled with some of the Halloween decorations. Not even one sign in the whole store, Halloween or fall!
I've been working on fall crafts for a while and I'm having trouble finding anything but flowers!
I've been thinking about making a wagon using the wooden crate. It was good to see how you did yours and the accessories you used!😚

Hey Kristin! As an idea Natalie @ Designed to the Nines did a faux fireplace that you can build. She explains everything in great detail. Its cheap to buipd but looks AMAZING! Think it was like a month ago. Dont quote me but I think its called My top 25 wood builds using some unconventional items...Ill go to it since I have it saved then come back n tell u the info on it.

The dollar tree stores in my area have started putting out fall stuff and yes, I'm in love with all the new stuff I've seen so far! The Dollar Tree plus in my town just opened a few months back and they are not disappointing with the $3 & $5 items 😍😍

Question...do.younstire you holiday craft pieces like blanks and the little stickers, wooden pumpkins, trees etc with your fall bins or in your craft room all year? I usually store mine in my decor bins but then I have to pull that out and not ready to decorate nec!
